Just the pellet seating. Some pellets seat much harder than others. Kodiaks for example are very tight.
You can also do mod to inner breech plate that ball rides onto. Just a bit of filing off 90* edged helps ball ride up better before it drops into keeper hole.

It must be easy-fix issue since nothing is complicated inside the bolt housing, yell and get some inputs from the gurus on this forum.

Urgirl,
You may have shoveled double pellets there. Or something is wrong with that little bearing ball.

No double pellets cause I finished running my snake through it to check that exact problem….I also shined a light down the bore and was able to see the light clearly out the other end…it might be what FVA mentioned about the pellet seating into the rifling,…but it never felt that tight before.

Meech,

I think that I was inspired by you long time ago. Good to see those pictures again.

Works like a charm. Install it last year. Great for prone or bench shooting. Can screw the pod up or down for precise crosshair placement on target.

pellet engaging the rifling.

I know I read someone else having the same problem but never thought too much about it until I ran into the problem myself….

My problem is when I cock the bolt on my matador everything flows freely…but when I chamber a pellet and move the bolt forward that’s when the bolt stops just before being able to lock the bolt down…..I need to push the bolt with more force than I think I should to be able to have the bolt fully closed and locked.

What do you think could be the problem?

Yep. Putting one of those on an EdGun would be problematic.

Your right sir the placement of zoco’s monopod was nice…BUT…on the edgun we don’t have that slanted rear stock to be able to place it were the monopod could vanish from interference…if fire puts the monopod on the bottom of the edgun stock, even with the monopod folded its still in the way or still could add hight if bench shooting.

But I still want one… 😆

Here are those pics you were referring too sir

If my memory serves me right Mr. Zoco has one (longer one) mounted on his Cricket. I liked his choice of the placement for it. There are pics here somewhere … I think under his record breaking thread ” EdGun vs. Cricket”.

The only reason I wouldn’t do it is because the lack of opportunity to order another stock. If you happen to not like how the monopod looks or feels…now your stuck with a stock that has holes in it.

This would be very close to the final product,

Damn fire you must be reading my mind….I was just you tubing vids on mono pods….I’d love to see how this looks on a matador.

Just got this today, please give me some suggestion to mount it without any damage on the butt,

You are really on to it. Kudos! Keep the info coming, Cracker.
