New to me Air Ranger .22
All Replies
I had 5 tins of Kodiak extra heavies and just started shooting those. I will try others when I get to the range and shoot some 100 yard groups.
I am not sure what I have left in my .22 stock but I know I have a few different kinds. will let you know. 😉
Slayer what have you been shooting out of her. I have been lucky can shot just about every thing even the JSB monsters.
dollar hunt good luck with it you will not be disapointed!
Nebraska your right this thing drives tacks it is hard to put down. That .22 around 1000 fps hammers stuff too. mooth comfortable and accurate as you could ask for. did I say PRETTY! lmao
I got some 30 yard groups this week end one hole if I do my part a ragged hole when I screw up! lol it shoots itself I think.
Slayer I just got my ranger back from 220 sweft last week. He but a 21 in polygon barrel on her for me and i will tell you she is a shooting rig for sure. Havent been able to put her down had her out in the rain the other day lol mite not happen again on purpose. You may have just met your new best friend.
this gets me fired up! my “new to me” Air Ranger 80 shipped today. supposed to be here next Friday. same lines, just a little different stock. hopefully this time next week i will also be in hog/airgun heaven.
Thanks MAw, yea I want a .25 in same gun now!
Hehe I knew I’m not married for a reason 😆
Slayer it is simple I love that gun, good choice #1 gun in my book.
I am on my third marriage so I roll with different rules third time around. I do what I am going to do. lol (kissing ass did not work first two marriages)
She can bitch complain and divorce me, I am going to hunt and fish until I die period. Love my wife alot, love my hobbies as much as life itself.
My wife is very understanding which is why I think 3rd time is the charm (10 years in now , I think its ten) . Hopefully it is the last time, but my last hunt is when I die, the last gun I buy is when I cannot shoot anymore (may still buy some to just look at them) Will be saving for that .25
do by the easy way… buy the rifle and tell you whife you WON it in a club or something!!
I just won two other guns… 🙄
(of course she loves me, and replies.. ok, ok, yes honey…) 😆 😆 😆
Gringoloco38 thanks for the advice will do. I usually do not clean my ai rilfes but will try it for sure.
Yellow Ninja you will not regret that purchase. As my wife was bitching at me I said it was worth every penny and more! lol
I am starting to save for a .25 today! (may take a year or two but who cares!)
Very nice.
I’ve been on the fence about a daystate for ages. Going to England later in the year so I may get one then and bring it back with me. Used prices over there seem much more favorable than I’ve seen on the classifieds here.
belive it or not, after 200 or 300 shots, clean the barrel and you will see better groups, Daystate at 50Mts one hole is very capable to archive. 😆
congrats!
Yeah looks that way! I mean an AA for half the price from the source CZ! I was thinking about getting the Gamo DynaMax but saw the sale today and thought this would be a real nice back yard plinker/pester! Plus it’s sexy!

I am on my 4th marriage, this wife would live in the back of a car with me if I wanted to spend it all on toys, but I searched one out like that for a reason. No woman is worth living with if she makes your life miserable, but splitting all your stuff three ways, your, hers and the attroney’s can lower you treasure quickly. Not saying any of you guys have wives like that by any stretch tho, but most of us having some miles on us know what I mean.
The CZ is a nice looking gun if you want to shoot grasshopers I suppose, with me it has to make at least 40FPE or I am not interested, but then my new toy does 600FPE at fifty yards..
Dollar hunt, I will be waiting for some reviews on the 80 FP Ranger, a lot of controversy on whether they shoot good or not, it will good to hear from someone who has the gun, skill to shoot it and the means to buy what is needed to make it work.
Regards,
