Q:

New (to me) barrel finishes.

Here’s a couple 24″ .25 barrels I’ve been working on with some different finishes than usual. These would be a good alternative for those not covering them up with a shroud, or who just want them for the heck of it! Blued, blasted & cleared, polished, and trying out a matte bluing on a drop piece.

Nice! I’m assuming the “bluing” is hot blued? Don’t know if it’s just the pic? but it looks the bluing is really thin? Ever though about doing other finishes like “Black Chrome” or Parkerized?

Thank you. They are all steel, I’m not aware of any airgun blanks that are available in stainless.

They look great and is 1 of them stainless?
