Q:

New Vulcan

May not matter to anyone except for myself , went and ordered a new .25 cal. Vulcan from Tony at Talon Tunes . After much thought I decided that this would
be the the best selection of PCP AIR GUN for what I really need for the type of shooting and the types of pests that I will be eradicating . It is the right caliber
for the max knock down and killing power that I want , it has the ability to reach out and as far as I wish to shoot and take out what I want , It has a repeatable
nine shot mag and comes with two mags which even though not a semi-auto , but as a repeater it will do the job just as nicely . It is short , it is lightweight and
I’ll be able to shoot all of the wild turkeys from my truck that are always running around our streets . Hopefully , donnfl , Tony , or someone will be able to
make a really quiet LDC for it so I can be sure not to brother anyone when shooting and be able to shoot as quietly as possible . Well , that’s all I can say about
it for now until It comes and then I’ll be able to post the elation of shooting it .

Check out the video at the bottom of this page (especially minute 4:13) http://en.shop.dase.fi/product/22/huben-k1 It’s semi-auto and coming late this Summer!

Outside adjustable regulator and fps…. 😯 😯 😯 😯

Sir Ville , I know that you have never shot a semi-auto , maybe if you are in good terms with your local dealer if they have one they will let you shoot
one so you can see for yourself . I also believe in the one shot one kill theory . However , fortysix years ago the U.S. military not only trained me to be
a sniper with a modified M 14 rifle at 600 yds. , I was also trained to snipe with an M-16 semi-auto within 300 yds. The obeject of being to shoot at
mutiple targets semi-automatically which would result in one shot mutiple kills . This technic of shooting has never left me unfull-filled , that is why
I would love to have a semi-auto bullpup in .25 caliber . Lets’ just say you as a semi-auto virgin ( no insult intended ) ask Ernest , who also had never
shot a semi-auto until he shot the Scout 5 at a pest bird 45yds. away and pulling the trigger three times as fast as he could and hitting it with all three
shots and how excited and elated he was . It opened a new shooting awareness that he never knew existed . You don’t have to shoot and kill with this
type of shooting to enjoy it . You can shoot paper targets , cans , plastic figurines , any kind of target that meets your fancy .

The “Soze” knows his Tampons, so I trust his judgement in such matters!

The Sauce has many of the high-end BP’s so i quess he’s more than xapable for such comparison. The Mutating Tampoon in all honour but i’m pretty sure it will be beaten by the Volcano. I have very hard time imagine anything better , short from a semi-auto for those who prefer that.

You’ve done what I’ve been debating about. The next ‘pup expense will likely be a Vulcan or Mutant. They are both evolving, so it’s hard to decide. I’m eager to see/hear reports from new owners.

Bog….

What do we really know about that “Mutant” Tampon? Except for Ernest’s comments, it doesn’t seem anyone has one, or is willing to expand much on it. Perhaps not enough of them around these parts yet???

Ernest sure seems to like them a lot.

No wonder. The damn Gun talks more than my Wife does after a couple of drinks.

Birdman,

Good all around choice IMO 😎

But I gave up my 12″ .177 for a dyotat 32″ .257 build that I won’t dare shoot at home :banghead:
I have my TT 24″ .25 that is just a bit much for my small yard but shrouded quiet enough for home testing.

So I ordered a Talon Tunes .22 Vulcan with plans to do 50 yard target and a little Close-Up Neighbor Friendly Yard Work. :2cents:

I’m anticipating putting a lot of lead through my new TT VULCAN here at home ❗

One problem though, does the Vulcan understand english or do I have to learn a foreign language to say “SHIT” 😉

Mine speaks Finnish, Swedish, English and Czech. Helpful Afrikaans and Russian too .. 😯

I think all guns end up learning a whole bunch of interesting languages along their way.
