Q:

Off topic. Karma is a bitch

Wanta edgun was driving this car at 1:30 am on alabama highway 231, between Pell City and Vincent when he stuck a 2000 lbs bull. There was only one fatality.

The bull.

Everyone that stopped asked me, where is the guy from that car? No one could believe that I wasn’t dead. The cop took at least three double takes when I said it was my car. I had to punch (no I’m not superman, the window was 1/2 rolled down so it wasn’t that hard) the passenger side window out to get the door opened and Pull my legs out from under the dashboard. I had a bull on my head but its ok cause now I can smell colors and communicate with animals. It took me about an hour to dig all the glass and bull hair out of my arms and scalp but I’m a survivor baby. Ever had shattered glass in your ear canal?

Son of a bitch!! I just spent $800 and 50 hours rebuilding the whole front suspension on that car last weekend. Notice the brand new tires. Any one want to buy a a $4500 jdm civic type-R B16b motor with original factory hand ported cylinder head? It comes with a duel synchro factory LSD transmission, new axles, and a side of tenderized beef..

Lately, it seems like I am dodging deer nearly every evening ride on my Honda scooter. 😯

Here is what ended up with as a replacement for the del sol. My head wasn’t done healing yet and I had to strap on a Helmet and ride 120 miles a day on an overgrown scooter. I used to say that my edgun was the second most valuable thing I own, well its just moved up the list. Just can’t tell the wife that selling the r3m with a $800 scope on it would probably bring in enough cash to replace the del sol when combined with the $1400 I dropped on the 250cc scooter. Technically, I still own the $4500 CTR motor and dual synchro transmission in the del sol, but I don’t have time to screw with finding a shell and swapping it. I’ll probably pull it soon and tear it down for inspection. Maybe I can find a hatchback to make it through the winter and then swap in the spring. Hell, the cams in that motor sell for $900 alone.

In edgun news, I have now confirmed that the 25 cal has enough power to puncture a full grown turtle shell. I finally got the last big one at the pond a bout two weeks ago. I wasn’t sure I hit him cause he would only give me a small target for a few seconds and the gone. But the next day he was floating in the middle of the pond, his head was intact so it had to be a shell shot. I got tired of trying to bring him in with a fishing line and just blew a few more holes in him and let him sink. I found that hitting near the top of the shell would cause the pellets to bounce off, but anything closer to the edges went right in.

Holy COW! =)

Glad you’re alright bud!

I just damn near rebuilt the front end on my car and have been having the same fears lol. $800 and 50 hours!!!!

I was doing about 60 miles per hour. Since the car was restored instead of new, I didn’t carry full coverage. I had a 72 Chevy truck once that the insurance only gave me $750 for since they only use the blue book value of an average vehicle. They won’t consider the true value of the car unles you pay extra for some sort of classic or show car insurance. Which is rarely worth it unles you got the original batman car or something. Full coverage would have cost me more since I’ve owned the car than they would have paid out once it was wrecked. Smart financially if you look at it over several years, feels stupid when your looking at a smoldering heap on the side of the road.

As far as my health goes. I’m done with work until after the 4th so I can actually rest for a few days. My mommy is driving up from San Antonio this weekend and offered to reset my thumb if its still screwed up by then. Probably not necessary at this point but she just loves to see me cry. Its funny. I was starting to feel sorry for myself and her offer quickly reminded me of where I come from. She is about the only person that isn’t surprised the bull didnt take my head off. She reminded me that my grandfather should have died at least 3 times that she knows of. Once in Germany in ww2, once when he was a judge and a guy he had sent to prison tracked him down and stabbed him in the throat a few times, and another when he was 65 and fell of a building onto a concet slab. P.s. the guy that stabed my grandfather didnt fair as well as he did. Apparently he didn’t know he was bringing a knife to a gun fight. As far as my dear mother is concerned, I’ve got at least two lives left. Lol.

My brother. .. sorry for the accident. .. good/glad you are still alive. .. after clashing with that monster. … the car is destroyed hope that insurance give you a new car…

What was your speed ????

Thank for God …you are safe…

i’d say there are two fatalities, the bull and the car. and that’s one good story.

hope you recover soon!

It started out as a Lincoln town car. Just kidding. It was a Honda del sol.

I’m not so sure I can say anyone is watching out for me or likes me. If they are, I’d appreciate if it next time they just moved the bull a few feet to the left or just killed me out right. This B.s. with the concussion and still finding glass stuck in my hands is starting to suck. I felt pretty tough when I made it to work later that day and built 380 cars. But now its just starting to suck. Plus I don’t have my own vehicle anymore. I gotta wait for the wife to get none from work before I can go anywhere and it doesn’t look like they are going to be able to prove anyone owned the bull. :3:

It’s wearing a Honda brand at the moment.

quote badfish:

Glad you’re okay but sorry about the car. Was the cow marked or is any one the cow? that was a BIG cow!!

You need to be in Sunday School this week. Someone must like you a lot.

While that aero package is sweet, I think visibility would be an issue… Hoot:

OMG! What was is (the car)?

Ok but seriously, what happen to the driver? 🙂
Glad you ok man. That’s far more important than the car!

Ya, that edgun would be sold fast at $650.

Glad you’re ok man, don’t want your wife to sell your Edgun for how much you told her it cost 😉

quote Wanta edgun:

The cop knew who owned it but he showed up and said it wasn’t his without even looking at it. Bull wasn’t marked..

I was afraid that would be the story the farmer would tell :angrymob: , it happens all the time,, but I hope it all works out for you.
