Crickets are absolute fun to shoot! They are not a replacement for a Matador, but it is a very good addition to my family of Edguns :8:

I am a little embarrassed to say I ordered an Atlas for Father’s Day. 😳 I’ll try one on the Edgun since it is bigger and heavier. I really need the gun to sit a little lower than the current one. Also and more importantly, the traverse and pivoting movements on the cheaper ones is just plain lousy and this is from lots of usage night time pesting.
I will be interested on your Greenbase review before I invest in another. 🙂 I did a little searching and read some Greenbase order reviews. It’s a mixed bag. Some items were decent clones and seemed to work fine initially and others did not fit correctly or were not functional.
I quess it´s “quality” stuff since it´s the same stuff you buy when you order …. most anything when it comes to rings,mounts,bipods etc. Most, and i really mean MOST , (Hawke,UTG,Centerpoint,ccushot etc,etc) companies have their stuff made in China nowadays. That means it IS the same exact bits & pieces – some of it even sold in the original “brand” wrapping. Take the UTG/Accushot/Hawke rings & mounts – made in China = Greenbase sells the same crap but at very different price.
Check the Centerpoint 4-16×44 scope (i don´t know if they still have it for sale or if it´s sold out) for example. It IS a Centerpoint scope but costs 40$ which is a bargain compared to the “original”.
Well I read a review on the atlas bipod from green base and from what I read, there are very minor differences from the original to the “knock off” version….I also compared pictures to from greenbase to the actual atlas and the similarities are uncanny….that’s why I placed my order for the bipod….it’s made with the same materials that the original is made with……and I’ve ordered stuff that came out of Hong Kong and most of their stuff is quality product.
I know i´ll put my head on the line by saying this but… I think it´ll perform just as well as the “original” Atlas. Most of the stuff Greenbase sells is just leftovers from orders from “brand”,”marquee” trade marks such as UTG,Magpull, Uncle Mikes, Centerpoint etc. Everything – and i mean EVERYTHING – is made in China nowadays.

So Villie the 2145 rail and the atlas copy bipod will be good on the cricket ?
I bought the three rail kit (item # GB2145, cost 6.50$ for members) a good while ago and it´s perfect for both EdGun & Cricket. Flat bottom and countersunk screw holes front and rear so you can use swivel studs in either ,or both, ends if you wish. As a set screw(s) i mean … Double duty.
I already have a rail mounted to my matador so the “atlas” should just mount directly to that.

What 20mm rail did you order to match with the atlas? I could not find a matching 20mm rail in their website.
