Official KalibrGun Cricket – PICTURE THREAD

Lets start a thread with pictures of our KalibrGun products.

I will start.

First is Standard size Bulldog stock Cricket in .22

Both of my Crickets where purchased from Dima at KalibrGunUSA. Thank you for great customer service and awesome product.

Crickets are absolute fun to shoot! They are not a replacement for a Matador, but it is a very good addition to my family of Edguns :8:

And a Standard Classic in .22

And a side by side with Matador R3 Standard

Nice photos. What velocity you have set?

My new Cricket Tactical standard .22

Lady Cricket with monopod added:

The monopod is from Accushot and you’ll see it here:

It attaches to a std sling stud and I move it between my guns according to need. Kindly note this model does not fold in……………

It allows me a veeeery stable and adustable support when “benching”……… 😀

And the sling stud does not get in your way when putting down the gun. I tried to fit it at the very end of the gun, – but it did not look nice, and the stud ended up scraping surfaces whenever it got the chance…….

Don’t mention the dust on the table please. It’s actually pollen, and it is all over the place these days. Even the sea surface has been colored yellowish for the season….. 😥

I have been asked about the lamp mount:

The mount has been put together from bits and pieces found on ebay and costing almost nothing. I dont like scope mounted lamps, nor do I like scope mounted levels. It is getting in my way when moving around. Also I want the level as far forward as I can get it. Has to do with my old eyes that don’t function as they used to……….. 😳

Finally bipod and lamp mounts as well as the scope mount are all of the “quick detach”-type. Bipod and lamp attaches to a std 11 cm picatinny rail attached to the foreend of the gun(s) with stainless steel flat headed wood screws. Same system on my EDguns………….. 😉

Lets stay on topic?

The Rainbow Gauge 🙄

Hi Muggs,

I shot it at my usual spot this afternoon. I can definitely say that it is much quieter with the shroud. The hammer hitting the valve is much louder. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. There is a noticeable difference between the factory shroud and the Clague shroud. One reason why is because it is longer and there seems to be three baffles in the shroud. If your thinking of getting one, get it. It will make your shooting more pleasurable plus the shroud looks freaking awesome. The fit and finish is top notch. If was well worth the wait and price of 160 dollars shipped.

BTW, my cricket is shooting close to 30 ftlbs in .22 cal.

Hey Meech, that’s a nice looking shroud you have there. Keep us updated on the noise factor once you try it outside. I too would like to replace the factory shroud on my Cricket 22 cal.

Here is some pics (crappy IMO) of my cricket standard with a Neil Clague custom carbon fiber 16″ shroud. I can’t tell yet since I shot it in my garage, but it seems to take the snap away from the shot with the factory shroud. It looks dead cool though 😀

I have owned a lot of single shot guns in my life and loved every one, but I have a lot more fun with the repeaters. It also allows me to get off that second shot much quicker when required. I would say the 12 shot magazine for my .25 cricket is one of the main reasons I bought the cricket over the edgun.

Stan

Don’t hate me (Matador owners) if I tip the fun factor scale to my .22 Cricket over my .25 Matador. One is not a replacement for the other but there is just something about the small size and feel of the standard .22 Cricket yet 65+ shots. It could be that 14 shot magazine helping too. The .25 standard Matador with Predators in a force to be reckoned with indeed but and it is the master of my coon and opossum problem but it doesn’t replace the Cricket for slaying sparrows en masse at great distances. 😛
