Q:

One Piece for Assman

Assman wanted a piece of, well, valve. One piece, that is. He was tired of denting the ridiculously thin walls of the stock hi-flow with the tophat’s set screws. I will supply a couple different seals with this one piece to set the tophat height at .100″ and .120″ or .140″, haven’t decided yet. Will need to run some tests first. In addition to the increased cross section, it has 3 ports instead of 2.

And here it is compared to a stock condor hi flow:

I made it a little larger in cross section for better flow and cut a new O ring groove in the brass body. Will post figures with some of Jerry’s slugs when I have a chance.

aloha,
walt

That is good looking work Walt. I can’t wait to see how it performs!

Cab, the one piece stem is fabricated from a piece of billet steel. but it goes into a modified hi flo, I have to resize the hole that goes through the brass body part to accomodate the wider diameter. So yes, it can be done to any hi-flo valve you have.

hey Walt, is that the valve stem for your modded hi flo, or is this for a custom valve???

Look’n good Walt!

Walt,

Getting close to my bedtime at the home here, or I would have noticed that. 😆

Roach, huh? It’s the valve stem. Since it’s larger than a stock one by a little bit, it won’t drop into a normal valve body. The brass insert has to be enlarged to fit as well, and a new O ring groove cut to accomodate the larger valve stem.

Walt, is that the drop in?

Lookin good Walt,

Thanks
