Original Hummingbird

I have been interested in the Hummingbird, because it’s unlike any other PCP in my opinion. The original compact Bird which was seen a couple of years ago, appears to be in production by Kalibr, at least in Russia. Here’s a link to Russian Air Gun TV.

I was sitting on the back deck shooting and said to the wife, “I wonder what the hummer sounds like with the baffled shroud off”. Well, that wasn’t a good move. With the shroud off it sounded like a cannon firing and I mean really, really, loud…and I’m here to tell you it really pissed the wife off…LOL

With the baffled shroud the Colibri is really quiet…now if we could just find a way to quiet the loud smack when the pellet impacts a squirrel.

The Colibri is one sweet little gun and in my opinion handles better than the Cricket…especially with the mid-gun cocking handle.

My Condor .22 and my Evanix Blizzard pup are just about silent. The noise comes from the pellet trap stuffed with duct seal. My cricket is loder then both of these guns.

Well can you ever have a gun that is too quiet? Need is a personal thing, I think it all depends on your neighbors

Larry it looks just like the one my friend just bought from TGAG. He got it about 6 weeks ago. I have played around with it. The gun is really quiet. It is very unique.
