Q:

OUR BULLPUP CONDOR

MY SON AND I REALLY LIKED THE LOOKS OF THE AF CONDOR. AND NOT HAVING A DEALER WITHIN 500KM, WE UNDERTOOK TO MAKE OUR OWN. BUT AS YOU SEE WE CHANGED A THING OR TWO. IT IS 36″ OVERALL,
22 CAL., AND HAS AN 18″ BARREL.

I had some trouble with the last one as well, the computer is touchy about spaces in the code… 😕

Nice work Camotes2 thanks for sharing you design and construction process, your design is great and looks slick, I wouldn’t think twice about buying it as the next Talon or Condor.

Really, really great stuff!!

thanks, i can not get the pics to transfer, just the links. thanks again

Not to step on any toes, here are the pics.

so here is a little bit more info. i did not take pics while building. the internal tank is 16cc. so plenty enough for the shot, you can hear the air being replaced after the shot for a 1/4 of a second or so. i have a quick fill port for the probe so i do not have to remove the tank for filling. i will make a different insert for the tank instead of a valve so i can have a gauge in the collar.
the stock is just a test model glass over plywood core, really comfy but not too too whatever just not so happy with it.

and here is a pic of the internals. nothing fancy just sturdy

we had a bit of a challenge, as we did not know the dimentions of anything, but being bullpup they might not have helped so much. and we have no milling machine so it was all done on the lathe with luck and various jigs for holding.
i think we will make a couple more, at least one each for my son and daughter and it will help to work out some of the bugs. smoother building, this is the first airgun we had attempted. only got a little more gray hair from it. later…

Looks like the new Condor for 2010!

Absolutely awesome!

that thing’s a pice of art, beautiful work you’ve got there.
is their any way we could se some internals, drawings, or progress pics?

please 😆 ?

Great bit of work you have there, very unique.

Would love to see that stripped down, so we could see how you pulled that off.

Holy crap!
That is AWESOME. Absolutely genious. Exactly the design I have been looking for. With little smaller tank (diameter) and maybe encapsulate the tank with frame partially.
Lots of room for external regulator-chamber and regulator.

That just went to the top of the list of choises for my next project.
Thank you very much for posting.

LOVE IT

WOW….that is sweet 🙂 . More Info. if you please.

Now that… is VERY cool !!
