PCP shopping
guys, i am for my first PCP can somebody tell me what to except from a new condor .
every body seems to tinker with there rifles is this necessary, these things are not cheap if i get one i dont want to have to take a wrench to it!
its all about pesting for me, i am not really into shooting targets that dont move so FPE is really important.
and whats the best setup for hunting: scuba tank (at home) and several filled but stock bottles or buy and carry the pump with me.
and on a stock rifle with reasonably heavy .22 pellets how many usefull shots per fill and FPE

oh and the reason i am considering the condor is its ability to be stripped down and backpacked, will a scope hold its zero or have to be readjusted every time i reassemble the rifle

i made it to wasaga beach a couple of times, the first i went out to my knees and turned around i cant believe people swim in that puddle water but the sights are worth the drive!!!
i live on capebreton island hunting and( sport ) fishing are great , just dont try and make a living out here.

Its about high time people including you see the ‘tactical’ rifle for the defender of freedom that it is. That is the is the thinking and feelings a military rifle instills in me.
There needs to be a united front regarding ‘guns’ especially from shooters.
fracturing the opinions into a ‘good’ gun ‘bad’ gun mentality is wrong completely.
There are good and bad SHOOTERS which have issues seperate from the appearances of a gun.

canadianmadmac, where are you at in canada? I’m in Windsor basically, 10 minutes from Detroit border. There aren’t alot of forests around here and the fishing sucks because all of the waters polluted except the great lakes…i’m going to move up north when i’m older probably
what i mean is it does not like a powder burner at a distance. plus i can pull it apart and backpack into the woods with out freaking anybody out
I wouldn’t compare a Condor to a paintball gun. Condor looks scary.
Paintball gun is…well, a paintball gun 🙂
+500 fps = firearm, in nova scotia (not sure about other provinces) you only discharge a firearm legally :
1 if you are at a official range (your back 40 does not count)
or
2 you are hunting and aiming at what ever is in season. with of course all the required permits, orange vest, you get the idea
this is one of the reasons i want a condor for pesting around my cottage to the average (none airgun types) it just looks like another paintball gun.

I was just curious about Canadian airgun regulations…looks like even England is more lenient than a big American brother..? In the UK you get a license and own any air bazooka you want I heard.

you have to take courses $$apply for licence $$ and not get caught doing anything even remotely enjoyable with it, or you could end up losing your :
licence ,air rifle,and all other firearms registered in your name !!!!!!
and yes we have had .22 rimfires listed as restricted up here simply because of their looks i forget there names but they were cheap 10-22 ak & ar look a likes
it sucks to be us as far as gun laws go

legal and ethical uses are still allowed freely so don’t quite follow your complaint.????

Perhaps reconsider and read more on this forum. You may be surprised with a condor in th ecorrect state of tune.

BTW silencer on a rimmy will get you in HUGE trouble so don’t go down that road.
Having a Talon SS would be a cake walk compared to silencing that firearm.

yeah lol when I get my liscence in a few months i’m probably going to pick up a talon, the ss is illegal, and the condor is just very loud so i’ll just get a rimfire. Do you know cheap ways to quiet it down abit?

lol just don’t get any water in your mouth…i mean it’s clean to swim and eat the fish, but i’m near the detroit river it’s pretty bad but some people eat the fish here.
