Q:

pellets…

OK, there are quite a few pellet types out there, and I know there are quite a few topics on this site for pellets…I do have a question though that I don’t think has been addressed, and if so…well, I’m sure I’ll hear about it 😉

Here are 3 different Diabolo Exact Jumbo pellets of slightly different weights. Which one(s) work better in the SS? Or does it really matter?

Thanks 🙂

JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Express .22 Cal, 14.3 Grains, Domed

JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo .22 Cal, 15.8 Grains, Domed

JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.1 Grains, Domed

I’m still waiting for my shipment of .18gr. from AOA! It’ only been a month and in stock! 👿

Now to add even more into the soup. The JB’S in 15.9 are avaliable in different diameters as well. 5.50-5,51-5.52.. %.52 work the best for me. And their Pred’s kick butt in my gun!

So which one is the best? Kodiak! 😀

OK, so they are all accurate then? kewl…
Thanks

Airgunner — It depends on the Talon SS

Stock TalonSS — ALL

Stock TalonSS with Shroud — ALL

TalonSS with Modded valve — ALL (just adjust power wheel)

TalonSS with Modded valve and with different barrel in .22. — ALL

TalonSS with Modded valve and with .25 barrel — NONE

OK — done teaseing — All I can tell you is that it made no difference in mine. The only thing that changed was the POI on the different weight pellets.

The 15s and 18s seems to be perennial favorites, but I don’t recall anyone ever mentioning the 14s.

Not that there’s anything wrong with the 14s, but for AF guns, folks prefer heavier pellets.
