Perfect scope for the Vulcan
The gun feels like a baby in your hands, the way a pup should feel. Sticking a monster scope on her would ruin the feel. The Vortex FFP 2.5X10X32 only weighs 16 oz and it fits just right.

That’s EXACTLY my gripe over the Ball Buster as well : The thick reticule.
I also find The Uncles fondness on Cocking Knobs rather alarming – although i need to admit he makes me a bit curious over them Knobs too ..

Greetings…
I have owned three 3 X 9 Bugbuster scopes, and for a 32mm objective, I’ve had great luck with them on small guns. They are tiny and light weight.
My Leyla is 22″ long and a bigger scope would look stupid on it. I find that all the way up to 9X the “Bug” is very clear and sharp. Probably not meant for
100 yard shots at my age, but I’m nailing things out to 50 yards with no trouble. At 100 yards I’d have to get in my car and drive down there to see if I hit anything!
There are some very functional scopes in the bargain price range IF you don’t need a lot of magnification. I’ve found 10X is as high as I have ever needed. Above 10X, unless you get an expensive quality optic, they all seem to go dim at maximum magnification.
That being said, I’ve never regretted buying the best I can afford. The Bugbuster is one exception, because it’s size and clarity makes it work really well on small guns.
Do any of you brain surgeons believe the Vulcan is as good as, or better, than the R3M? I am very curious about this.
As a left-handed shooter, I must admit the Colibri’s cocking knob turned me on! (Ville…don’t say a single word!!!)

Bugbuster would be a great little short range scope if it hadn’t such a thick reticle. What I don’t get is the popularity of FFP scopes. I mean it’s a nice concept but shooting at low magnification makes the reticle really tiny and since it is so tiny the mildots are rather useless. Fine for 50 yards but if you try to shoot at 100 yards or more with airgun speeds you will run out of dots. I have a 4-16x FFP scope in my rimmie and with 50M zero I’ll run out of reticle at around 100M when using subsonics.
150 USD ??? Try again and this time tenfold that sum.

I own a Hawke sidewinder and I love the way the parellax and Magnification are on the left side wheel. However for a bull pup these scopes are Long and Heavy does anyone know any other scopes that have this feature and are lighter and shorter then the Hawke Optics SW

I do like those X-hairs Ville looks to be a very nice scope.
Cocking knob turns Hoot: on???
When Ville had his .22 Vulcan he couldn’t say enough good about it. I can only imagine it’s one hell of a shooter.
Hoot that is a good question regarding the EDgun vs Vulcan. There are things I like about the Vulcan and things I like about the Eddie. I have the Vulcan in .25 and the EDgun R3M in .25. The Vulcan is very accurate at throwing a JSB at 930 fps. If you go back an read my review you’ll see it performs as good as any EDgun ever would. The gun is compact, light and very ergonomic. The .25 Vulcan is louder than the EDgun .25. The barrel is very short. Donny is making a shroud and moderator for my Vulcan so I’ll report on that when I get it. The EDgun magazine system is better but not for a lefty, the Vulcan has the advantage there. I don’t like loading the pellets as much as the EDgun. The Eddie is quicker to load and the magazines can be stored on the gun. The Vulcan magazine is easier than the Theoben type however. The trigger is OUTSTANDING on the Vulcan. Very simple to adjust and you can adjust both the first stage and second stage separately. You can even remove the first stage if you want.
If I can quiet this gun down it may be better than the EDgun

Well let’s see it Ville….
This f###in’ Tapatalk !!!!!!!!!
I just bought one of the best scopes i’ve had the honour of owning : The new Delta Ti 3-24 ED with a LR 600 reticule true at 24x and mil-mil. 34 mm tube.
The scope is unbelievable ! I own several real good scopes ( a couple pf IOR, S&B, Kahles etc ) and the optics on this one is right there with the best of them. The reticule is the best yet and the turrets / clicks are like clicking in the numbers in a high-end safe. I don’t understand how they can sell it at the price they do.
It weighs a bit much but works wonders for benching with the Volcano. Truly great stuff !!
