Q:

Perfect scope for the Vulcan

The gun feels like a baby in your hands, the way a pup should feel. Sticking a monster scope on her would ruin the feel. The Vortex FFP 2.5X10X32 only weighs 16 oz and it fits just right.

Oak, I thought you were talking about the MTC, yes the Vortex is expensive. I found mine on eBay for 500. It is a kick ass scope though.

I like it. And I just put a bid in for one on eBay! The cheapest is 699.00

Nothing new in the $500 range for that Viper. Did a lot of reading on it scope gets great reviews. Found a used one and bid it up too $585.00. The used scope ended up going for $591.00 sheesh I should have stayed up for the rest of the auction. Looks like I will be buying new. Some where in the $700.00 area. You lucked getting it fot $500.00 Soze

Keyser,

Thanks for the quick response and pictures. As you mentioned it may come down to individual cheek placement. I wish the magazine was inter changeable as to be flush mounted for either shooter but then again it may be used to my advantage only shooting one will confirm this. As many can attest to, bull pups are a little harder to get a consistent cheek weld as opposed to conventional arms having raised cheek welds on their stocks none the less I have found my EDguns to perform quite well for my cheek weld as I being a south paw use the magazine as a kiss button, not unlike shooting a bow, as a means to get consistent cheek weld. Maybe the Vulcan will perform the same or perhaps even better!

Thanks Keyser for taking the time to respond and taking addition photos!

Kindest regards, mike

I can’t wait until the box carrying this baby arrives

Mike, I think it would be fine for lefties. I feel stupid shooting it left handed but I just tried it and I couldn’t feel the magazine on my face. The top rail is still smooth on both sides of the comb. Keep in mind I am not left handed therefore I may not be mounting the gun properly. I took some photos so you may get a better idea of the set up.

Hope this helps

Keyser, great setup you got there.

Question for you, the magazine is flush with the breech for typical right hand shooters but wonder how the cheek weld is for us south paws with respect to the magazine on the right side of the breech. Can you give us some insight on this for us lefties. Much appreciated.

Oak they are not that expensive. The super close eye relief make the scope unique. It reminds you of looking through a spyglass.

You have a link maybe I was looking at the wrong place. 799.00 for the scope is a tad expensive but I see scopes that are much more expensive? So maybe you guys are right. I have never crossed the 500.00 boundary on scopes. My most expensive is a Hawke Side Winder. Around 500.00.

Nope, not that expensive. But a very good scope for a Bullpup.
I let you know Soze. I just need to figure out a fair price.

an expensive piece of glass 😆

Ville when you figure a price out PM me I may be interested if you feel like shipping it.

I may sell my spare MTC Connect 3-12 x 32. It’s in mint condition and, of course , in its original box. Need to figure out a fair price for it.
