Nice short little rifle 36 in. long- Thanks to ELDY, barrel and breech and top-hat, and Dyotat, for the valve and spring, and Anthony, for a 90.3 gram hammer, it’s a smooth shooter, think I’ll get 10 shots between 600 and 650fps, maybe more fps. with higher air pressure. The only issue I am having at this time is the safty, I have it forced open to cock for now.

Yeah I have been thinking about it for a couple of years. I have had a .452 barrel for almost 3 years but it is .875 OD which is just to big. I started to make a frame but stopped. Now I have a source for gun drilling and will make a new frame setup for it.
I want to make something that will shoot 250 gr around 1000 fps so it will shoot a couple hundred yds good. Then drop in the 400+ gr and make some serious power.
I ordered a .457 barrel. I’m looking to make 600+ fpe

Ya, I want to see how much pressure I can go and get alittle curve maybe, plus alot faster slug. Check and make sure, the bottle looks to fit, if you take a 1/4 in. of the two sides of contact.

46 yards. epp’s on the paper, 10 shots, 9 shots, and 9 shots, the soda can was with round ball.
Was out shooting today just trying out the bullets and some chrony’s, found out my gun is getting weirder, now I can cock it with or without the safety, very strange indeed, and MR. hollow point makes some good shooters, 458, collar button, 158 grn. and I also found out the gun shoots better at a slower speed, but I will have to research this further. It’s my opinion they seem to shoot better at the 770’s and below.
Round ball at 30 yrds. and epp/ug at 50 yrds. I got all packed up got there to shoot and forgot my fill adptr. Did manage to get off 11 more shots, on that tank full, with the power-wheel 6, Top one is the epp/ug .65 for 4 shots
Just took 2 shots outside my house, there is a need for the country, 3500 tank fill, powerwheel 8.5, RB 143, 821.2 and 796.7, both over 200 fpe. This is looking more promising!
19.5, so far I have some Air Venturas 166gr., som epp/ug-157gr. and some Mr Hollowpoints pointed 158 gr. collar button, and 500 roundball. Haven’t shot it yet except on the crony, cause of a no cocking issue, had 630fps down to 597 in 8 shots, with the 143 rb, think I started out with 2800psi, much more testing to do. Weighs 8.4 lbs.

The problem with those guns is shot count and fill pressure. I have a .308 haley and it was really a let down compared to my .308 condor when I bought it.
Yes is makes more power but only because it fills to 4400 psi.
I will test my .308 on 4000 psi and see if it does 330+fpe. The Haley made 347 fpe on 4400 psi with 171 gr.
Extreme is the same thing. They fill to 4500 psi.
Did you know that they made a .257 extreme? It doesn’t even make 200 fpe on 4500 psi. I make 200 fpe on 3300 psi with my .257.
Takes a lot of figuring and testing to get decent fpe with these guns. I spent months to get my . 257 and .308 to where they are now. I don’t have the time right now to figure out what’s going to work with .457. I know the bigger the valve is the easier it is to get tank dump.
