how and the hell do you get rid of the horid tank thats the only thing you hear on my rifle the guy that lives next door to me says he cant hear the ping from a distance but ican is there a fix for it plez help

Search “utube depinger” and check out the M-Rod depinger mod. Their air tank is a long tube but we may be able to use the principal. They use a tightly stuffed piece of heavy vinyl tubing stuffed half way down their tank to dampen air resonance.
I’m thinking we might have more to loose in air volume internally but just maybe the resonance could be dampened by putting heavy rubber band around the middle of the tank. Maybe rubber inner tubing could be stretched and put over the middle of the tank. If it works, the foam rubber tank cover could help hide it.
Any other ideas ❓
I pretty much removed the ping on my .22 SS by doing a hammer slap mod like the Talon Tunes one. That reguired me to make a 57g hammer to replace the 47g stock and also add a 1/8 nylon washer between the spring and hammer. Then I had some unused rubber pieces from my crossbow bowjax dampening kit that I placed between the frame and bottle where it necks down (that V area at the back of the frame). This canceled the resonance and ping. BTW valve is stock.

I just discovered the PING myself this past week.
Shooting .177 12″ in my Condor w/ light hammer, I decided to vent the front bushing. I thought I broke something when I shot it. One hell of a PING!!! I turned the PW down from Max to 6 and it helped some. I hate the ping but I guess there is less bang down range.
Search for ping and you’ll probably find some mention of o-ring or rubber grommets used by some. Edward told me about using an o-ring behind the top hat. Others say these mods will deteriorate. No doubt they will decrease the hammer inertia a little.
Check Talon Tunes under “breech” for Tony’s hammer slap mod. No doubt it should work good.

Wear ear plugs
Actually the ping is the resonant air in the tank. We have not come up with a solution yet other then turning down the power wheel adjustment.
