Please take a look at this SS and tell me whats different
The frame is indeed an SS isn’t it? What is sticking out of the front of the frame? This is a picture of a gun that just sold on gunbroker. The title says its an SS and from the look of the frame, it is. The description didn’t say anything special about the gun as far as shrouds or anything like that go. Ideas?

Right. The Condor’s frame is longer, and has a couple bits in it that make it more powerful than the Talon.
But the Talon and the Talon SS are the same gun, just different barrels from the factory.
Now that I think of it, I can’t remember the last time I heard someone say they bought the “standard” Talon. It’s always a Talon SS or the Condor.

If it came from the factory as an SS, the serial # on the frame starts with “BS”.
The SS designation just means that it originally came with a 12″ barrel. But otherwise, it’s the exact same frame/gun as a regular Talon. It’s common to see SS’s that are modded with different barrel configs. I’ve got a 24″ barrel on mine.
Just out of curiosity, what did it sell for?
i thought the frames of ss were condor frames longer than talon frames???
the only diff is the rail onto is a tad shorter than condor am i incorrect here?

That looks like a small shroud/frame extender. Too short for an 18″ barrel?

you have that backwards buz. the ss and condor frame are the same length with the condor having a bit more scope rail
