I think the biggest enemy was the voters that put these people in place. As Hoot says there is always a turd in the punch bowl like Obama and the Progressives (a polite term for Socialists/Marxists/Fascists or whatever you want to call them – their goal is always the same even if their means vary) waiting to step in and take wealth and control from everyone else for a small elite group. That pesky Constitution always seems to get in their way here in the US so they are constantly trying to change it or reinterpret it through control of the media, schools, or judges and other appointments or corruption or all of the above like the current occupier. Compared to Hillary Obama might be considered a moderate radical so stay tuned for what’s next. Basically, so far one party has been hijacked by the Progressives but they are trying to extend that control everywhere.
The voting sect that knows little about politics but is hooked like heroin on the handouts and welfare has reached critical voting mass and the Progressives are doing what it takes to expand that group before 2016 for a shoe-in. (Amnesty loophole to voting)
I associate with a couple of state reps and a regional party director and they are well aware of what is going on at the highest levels. Convincing voters to pay attention seems to be the main challenge.

Our biggest enemy is in the White House. Look at the state of our country since he’s been in office. He has divided this country into the have’s and the have not’s. The rich and the poor the whites and the blacks it goes on and on and on.

Freedom isn’t free! Never has been.
In the entire history of human kind, ever since we began walking upright, there has always been someone taking freedom away from someone else. Perhaps the victims were weak, lazy, fearful, unprepared, ignorant, or just didn’t care. The lesson is there to be learned. There will always be someone who wants what you have. Ignore this, and you will pay a heavy price.
Internally, or externally, there is always someone there, quietly waiting to take what is precious to you. They don’t need a reason, just an opportunity! And…if we are not alert, like a disease, they can ever so slowly pluck away at our rights, a small piece at a time, until our “Constitutional Rights” have no real meaning, or ability, to protect us. That is what our forefathers warned us about when they wrote the Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. They were speaking from bitter and deadly experience!
Today, America’s most dangerous enemy is inside the gates…and they look just like us!

Being arrested, boiled, sliced into tiny pieces, and fed to chickens, holds no fear for me!
My wife, for many years now, has called me a “Chickenshit Individual“…it seems to be my fate to end up in a little ball, on the ground of a chicken yard!
Besides, anyone approaching my house in the dark, is going to be on the receiving end of .45 caliber ball ammo, of which I have a goodly supply, and I won’t hesitate to use it. They will be met with a hail storm of hot lead, in assorted calibers. I may be just a helpless elderly 72 year old man…but I’ve got a bad attitude, and I’m very heavily armed!
Besides, living in America, where there are hundreds of millions of assorted guns in almost every private home, where literally billions of rounds of military ammunition, and equipment, is in the hands of private citizens, anyone sneaking around in the dark, in their secret, very special forces uniforms, will most likely get their asses shot off before they get to the end of the block…provided the Pitbulls and Rottweilers don’t get them first! Especially in Texas…where it is entirely legal to shot dead anyone who enters onto your property, or home, in the dark of night, without permission. No other reason needed, just get on someone’s private property at night, and you can legally be shot dead. Texans are very sensitive about such things.
The Second Amendment to our Constitution clearly states private citizens don’t have to put up with that shit, and have a legal right to protect themselves with fully armed force, when needed. No permission required! Names will be taken, asses kicked, people shot, and attitudes adjusted!
While the rest of the world sleeps in fear of their government, our government sleeps in fear of it’s citizens…ask any Democrat. If that weren’t bad enough…there is Texas!

Leadbetter, I’ll sure say no to that agenda as soon as I find something better to vote for. I galls me to read opinions that flame one side or the other. All Presidents catch hell. Most politicians too. Ultra conservatives dominate politics on the right while ultra-Liberals dominate politics on the left. Each puts up a candidate for any office who’s only qualification is how badly he/she knocks the other guy. People, there are lots of voices out there decrying the state of the US since it’s been in the care of the current Executive. The Republicans aren’t doing anything the Democrats haven’t done (except maybe with greater evil intent). Now that The Repubs control congress let’s see how our lives will improve now? People decry Obama care, but in similar poles they love the Affordable Care Act; 16 million applicants so far. We’ve got the government we deserve and the best politicians money can buy. Not your money. The money that’s p ut in play to get you to vote the way you do. Both sides trying to scare you with innuendo. Does anyone reading this really believe that their political contributions help change the course of this country? Is poverty at it’s lowest level? Has starvation been eliminated from our population? Isn’t processed food still the easiest thing for the kiddies to reach from the shopping cart (even though the ingredients don’t come close to being nutritious for all the crap that goes in it; excess sugar, flour, red dye this and yellow dye that). Aren’t our roads in ever worse shape? How many more bridges have to fall before a real infrastructure bill is passed? Imagine the jobs for low-skilled labor that project will bring. Provided people are healthy enough to perform those duties. Hmm…processed food increases as does rampant obesity. Yet, recess gets cut from the budget, as does gym class, and history and home ec, and art,and music class. The middle class is now indistinguishable from the working poor while the ultra rich earn a million bucks a fart. Taking your money in clever ways that you won’t notice (like supporting the increasing cost of healthcare by allowing unhealthy crap in your food and water, and making that stuff seem like a wholesome quick meal so you can work more hours than other countries while getting less per dollar of service. Well,at least the government is still going after the banks for the housing\mortgage burst bubble, though the fines levied are as to you buying a few lottery tickets. Not enough to really discourage a repetition, and who’s in jail? WHo’s out of their home?
Look at how this country treats it’s Vets. Still. The current Exec didn’t start the VietNam war. Look at how these vets were treated. Look a the special groups that do for our vets (claim to anyway). These groups have no responsibility to assist the vets. Where does that responsibility belong? Why haven’t the Democrats or the Republicans made these the issues we address as a country instead of trying to divert our attention by convincing us how much we don’t like the other side.
So it’s us versus them. I say if you’re not an independent voter in the US you drank the Party Kool-Aid. congressmen from my district take a long time to write me back (still waiting) but they will ask me to donate. The average politician can swallow my jizz before I’ll consider donating to either party. All each is good for is holding some rich Johnson,and doing it’s bidding. I assure you, yours is too small to tickle political tonsils into coughing up special-interest decisions like that. Oh, another term for Special Interest is BIG-MONEY. If you ain’t got it you’re just sitting in the nosebleeds watching the game,kids. But you can’t afford those players. We’ve got the best Congress money can buy. :winkn:
