Shamsher,
First, there are 2 o-rings inside the Breech, set in from the ends. When you slide the breech forward to cock the hammer, both of these o-rings will be riding on the barrel. When you slide the Breech to the rear one o-ring comes off the barrel and then engages the smaller portion of the Top Hat as it slides over the small portion and forms the seal between the Breech and the Top Hat.
Next in the series is an o-ring, kind of hidden, inside the rear larger portion of the Top Hat. I say kind of hidden because I haven’t seen it yet but know it is there. When attempting to remove the Top Hat to the rear off of the Valve Pin (stem), this o-ring is very tight and since I was working with a new part, I chose not to force it all the way off the valve pin. It is important that the Breech Knob is Positioned Off To Either Side with the breech fully to the rear up against the large portion of the Top Hat. Several days ago shooting at 9 degrees F ( -13C ) with numb fingers I failed to get mine latched and had a slight blow out and the pellet registered only about half the velocity it should have.
Another, the 4th o-ring in the series, is set back inside the Brass Insert that screws into the tank. This one seals air from escaping along the outside of te valve pin (stem) while the valve is to the rear having been struck by the Hammer/Breech combination.
This is as deep as I have gone into the valve so far.
I hope this helps
🙂
hi freinds ,
pls tell me is there is any o ring between tank nozzel and breech as i did not found any in my gun,is this is the problem ,
i think there should be an o-ring between air tank and breech to lock the air .so that some air didnt comes out ,
pls help ,to make my condor woth using

Take the tank valve out and screw the the spring retainer screw in more,it will create more tension on the on the spring, the spring retainer screw is on the bottom of valve.
Shamsher,
This diagram from the Stealth web page is not the current layout for the Condor Safety Spring.http://www.stealthresource.org/Trigger.htm
In this Stealth Safety the Knob is pulled to the rear to release the Safety.
My Condor releases the Safety by pushing it Forward.
I don’t know which yours actually is but in my Condor the Safety Rod is longer and hooks front of the skinny spring.
AirForce told me that there is a different valve spring inside the Condor Hi-Flo Tank for Condors sold new with a .177 barrel.
Good Luck and keep us informed as we can all learn from other peoples unique experiences.
I have never heard of the tanks being marked for the caliber, but that dosnt mean it has the right spring in it as we all know how well a/f quality control is.
my money is still on the internal valve spring being wrong.
thanks for your kind adivice. my gun is .177 cal and the tank supplied with it has a tag of .177 cal mark on it. when i firing pellets in full power i.e. 12 and 13 setting with air pressure 3000psi all or almost all air comes out with a bang sound……………… i have no idea how and where to fix it.
Dear,
At one point you say you checked valve spring & just a line below you are asking for a link to get info about opening valves assembly & trigger assembly.
Jig-saw puzzle does not fit in, isn’t it?
I have been repairing a good number of Talons & Condors here in Mumbai, India. Send it to me. I will fix it for you free of charge. By the way which pellets are you using & did you ever tried to use it with heavy hammer made locally?

Karizman
Here’s a link for the UK version of the airforce rifle lots of good info in here including tank disassembly. (UK versions are regulated at 12FPE) but can be upgraded w/ a FAC license.-
Thanks friend
this link will surely help me. can any link for opening of tank assmbly?

hello friends.

I have found a small loose spring inside safety lock machnesim at the back of front most part of safety lock. i have no idea how and where to fix it.
thanks

Lot’s of various info in the “Quick Reference” section.
You can also use the search function- and break it down to specific guns.

today i retested the condor and find that this gun is firing well when there is no pellets in gun even in full pressure and fuul power i.e. 13 power wheel setting , with power setting on 6 with pellets gun shoots without problem , air come out with bang 0nly when power wheel turned to 12-13 setting and gun fired with pellets,it means gun has a problem when fired at full power with pellets,
now i am not sure that this is problem of hammer or tank valve ,after all what causes problem when power wheel turned to maximum and how it affect air flow.
pls -2 help me as i am new to condor, can a new tank will solve the problem
regards
Shamsher, Did the air tank dump all or most of it’s air when you fired the pellet with power wheel set to 12-13? Or, was it just the BIG BANG that you don’t expect?
So far your replies indicate you are listening and following advice good. Our language differences is a little problem that sometimes requires questions and answers to be reworded. You’re doing GREAT! Keep giving more information and I’m sure we’ll figure it out working together. This kind of communications helps everyone!
I don’t think so, from my comprehension he is getting tank dump.
Whoa, with power wheel set high and rifle makes a big BANG sounds like pellet is going super sonic, MACH I +!!! That’s a sign you need to turn the power wheel down, as you have found out.
On the other hand, if you have excess air blowing ba ck in your face, that is a problem that you may be able to correct with new o-rings.
Am I on the right track?

Hello, did you fix it?
I had the same problem with a used tank after i upgrade the valve!
For me was very easy, i putted the tank on the scuba adapter and i bleed it!
Let me know so i can be more specific! i mean, ill try! 😉
