Proud new Vulcan owner (and forum member)

New member here.
Just returned from the range and have a few questions on my Vulcan. I’m new to PCPs, this is my first one, but have been shooting springers for years (TX200).
My Vulcan is a .22, shooting JSB heavys at 920 (a bit hot maybe?) I would like get it down in the 880-890s. I don’t need all this power and would rather save on air. I know i can just adjust the hst and be done with it but i guess that is not the optimal way to do it? Maybe a better way is to turn the reg down 15-20 bars? How much do i have to back the adjuster on the reg to reach 120 bars?
I’m extremely pleased with my Vulcan. It’s accurate, quiet and very well made.

I am shooting around 860 fps with 18.1 Exacts Heavys and I can dump 95 good shoots down range with a fill at 250 bar
There is no need to touch the regulator between 850 and 1000 FPS. Minor HST changes will not effect the gun’s efficiency.

Color me ignorant, but I guess I just learned that the HST adjuster is not standard, but after-market from John?
How do I contact this John, please?
Oh yeah, congrats on a great gun and very fine shooting there!
:tag: Hemi. I just got mine today. Tony said it’s shooting around 925fps. When I get my HST adjuster from John I’ll back it down to 890ish and see how it shoot then.

Hmm interesting… no need touch to regulator? There is 150fps difference I thought for best tuning is always necessary adapt also regulator 💡 💡
850 and 1000 FPS this is from 259mps to 304mps – this is impossible does not effect on consistency or efficiency !!! Minor adjustment is maybe 50fps but not 150fps
