Yesterday I bought a 68cu in 4500 psi carbon tank. Has the fill adaptor for filling the spinloc tank. Every thing is pressurizing right and I have 2000 psi on the carbon tank and 1600 psi on the spinloc. For some reason it will not fill the spinloc tank. I think that I am going to go back to the store today. But was hoping for someone that knows about this to help. Maybe I am doing something wrong.

the second image, the hose at the upper right corner, is that a kink or slight buldge ❓

Not saying this “IS” the problem but, gauges can be off by a few hundred pounds of psi in their readings. As a matter of fact, its very common. Even you 4500 psi tanks gauge doesn’t seem to be squarely at 2000 psi but seems to be before that number. Then your 2 gauges could easily be off by each other a few hundred psi.
I would simply shoot the guns tank pressure down a bit then try and refill it. If you audibly hear air going from the scba tank to the guns tank, and you check the gauges again and they look again like they do in the pics above then nothing is wrong with the guns tank or the scba tank but is in the gauges.
Fill gauges SUCK! Even some expensive ones. But those lil cheapies really suck….lol Also, it’s time to get your CF tank filled 😛

That k you for the reply and I agree 100%. Yesterday when I got home the carbon tank was at 3000 pal and it was doing the same thing. Lol and operator error I did a 1000 psi dump by accident……lol
