quiet condor?
i have a .22 condor, and need to shoot some squirrels in my dads back yard that are taring up his garden and the neighbors are feeding them. he lives in a neighborhood where everyone is close, and i was planning or shooting them from out his backroom. i was wondering if i buy a 12″ .22 barrel with the end cap how much will it quiet it down, i am shooting kodiaks at 975 fts witha 24″ and it is way to loud, also i don’t wan’t to spend to much money! and 113 dollars is not to bad.

One is a hollow tube the other one has some internal design features which makes it more effecient.
Anyone out there have a frame extender and Tony shroud? I know the Tony shroud is quieter but are we talking night and day? To the o.p. if max hush is the thing Tony is the man.

I echo everyone above. Tony’s shrouds are amazing. My .25 is quieter than my daughters .177 co2 gun. However if you decide to get the 12″ barrel and turn the power down, I have a Bill Levelle’s Frame extender that would be a perfect match. New price is about 45-50 bucks, I’ll take 25 plus shipping. It is an extra which I am not using.
My shroud from Talon Tunes shuts up my 16″ barrel and I can shoot any time in the back yard. You hear the tank ping and hammer and the neighbors hear nothing.
I got an Air Hog shroud- $175 and works wonders on a Condor
My buddy’s .25 Condor shroud from Tony cannot be heard except for the hammer and pellet strike!! 😈
I can also vouch for that, JPEG: the shrouds Tony makes are made for freaking special ops.
Better to spend the $200 on a shroud from Tony then on a short barrel.
I cant get over how quiet it makes my new .25 Condor. Without it it almost is as loud as a 22 long rifle, but with it ……….. almost nothing. The neighbor would never notice except for the pellet strike. I wish I could come help with your problem!
If someone has the means then they owe it to themselves to make as much as they can. Shrouds are no differant.
We all upgrade sooner or later. But for some $200 for a shroud is never going to happen.
I know, I just thought we should let him have some options in stead of just scaring the poor guy 😀
