Finally got around to uploading a video of the arrow conversion on Youtube. The picture quality could have been a little better, but you still get the just of it all.

I have used 2” up to 5” fletching. They go in the shroud fine and come out spinning 🙂

I know as soon as my wallet heals up from this months car repairs, I am going to order one from you.
About 20 years ago there was a air gun called an airrowbow or something close to that name, they looked a lot alike. It was the fact that the Condor could be converted to arrows that sold me on it.

About 35yards in the video. It groups tight and shoots very flat out to 40yards.

What does a rig like that cost , and where do I get it? I have the 22 and 25 caliber barrels and the shroud, but That thing looks wicked next to my collection of compound bows.

The one Im shooting in the video is going a little over 400fps. A stock condor with the top hat out will go 320+. I do a simple valve Mod. to get the Xtra 80fps. I use a lighter-longer valve spring and bore out the brass retainer 1/4”. Not a lot of people are comfortable going inside the tank so I dont offer the Valve mod. with the basic kit, but if any one wants the xtra 80 I can do it for them or send the two parts and they can do it themself.

For other states, I would assume the same restrictions as for crossbows until I knew better, but, not neccesarily the same rights, maybe restricted even more??? Will take a bit of research to find out I would imagine.

Tagdagger I have been shooting Archery all my life just like anything else a ton of bows out there your idea is a very good one IMO I do have a couple questions your speed is great how far where you shooting 40yds and am real cursious how they grouped. At 40 yds I can shoot a two inch group pretty consistent if you get a chance let me know thanks!

i have a nice compund bow that has a 70 lb draw and im spitting em fast at 325 fps
i think the newest fastew bows are gettin 360 but at where i hunt with i am shooting 300 and its deadly so id imagine this thing would be a sweet ass hunting rig
just dont get caught….lol

It is frickin COOL! No doubt, but unfortunately I don’t think Minnesota or any other state will allow it for archery season. I just got a xbow disability permit but this doesn’t qualify as a xbow. My thinking (for whatever it’s worth) is that it’s the equivalent of using a pneumatic speargun. Just as legal as a band speargun but the conservation services are not as up to date, informed or enlightened to consider it. When you’re above water the regs are much tighter. That said, it’s badasss and I’d like to shoot something with it. I can shoot fish from the surface with a xbow as well now but underwater it’s a speargun. Now supervalve it and shoot an underwater spear and shallow water reef hunters and lake jokers like me will be all over it.

Tag you have a great project going there seems to be working like walk said Bitchen anyway I had a question you answered thanks for that! the only other one is I am going to guess that the fletchings are keeeping the arrow inside the frame from coming out by having some resistance from the fletching and that is enough to keep arrow from falling out when you have a shot directely under your tree stand when deer hunting? thanks Eddie
