"Bustin Balloons" with a Condor-Arrow conversion (
Finally got around to uploading a video of the arrow conversion on Youtube. The picture quality could have been a little better, but you still get the just of it all.

Not sure what TagDag, uses but you can use wadded up shrink wrap and it works excellent w/ the exception of some residue on the arrow. I’ve used it with my Elite E-force bow shooting right around 330-340fps. As long as you are using field points. For shooting broadheads I use that hard white foam used for coolers and packing material. I don’t shoot enough broadheads to justify buying a “Broadhead” shooting block.
Minnesota only allows the use of crossbows if you have a physical handicap. I imagine this setup would maybe fall in the same category. If they even have one for it.
For other states, I would assume the same restrictions as for crossbows until I knew better, but, not neccesarily the same rights, maybe restricted even more??? Will take a bit of research to find out I would imagine.

What did you use for a backstop and where the arrows still good?
Man it is really slinging the arrows…. I had no idea that 320-380FPS was that
fast…. I don’t think I have ever seen an arrow travel at those speeds but I
am not an archery guy… Nice and accurate too…
I doubt any state would allow it during archery season. Lord willing I’m going out with it next muzzel loading season. Maybe spring turkey this year also.

You are correct 😯 I removed the safety on both my AF guns. For brevity and download time sake I was trying to keep things moveing. The proper and safe way is to load the arrow 1st and then cock the gun saftey off,fire 😀
please tell me you did somthing to your safty to make it more reliable….I noticed that you would cock it then load the arrow and put your hand over the point 😯 😯 but other wise damn those things come outta there fast….have you crony’ed it yet??

I really like the idea of it. It’s a good alternative to going out and buying a bow. It’s great if your state allows the use of it. I’m kind-of-an archery nut, I use to really be in it. But the bow manufactures are poppin out bow’s every 6 months to a year, with each model being “Better” than the previous one. Thing is most times when you finally get the bow, in 2-3 month’s it will become an “old” model and the value is in the toilet. There are also folks out there who can no longer physically wield a bow, but still yearn to hunt up close and personal. For the price that TD is offering them for I can’t see a negative about it. 😀
