Q:

R3 Gen 1 Valve Upgrade Arrived – 30 Cal

Thanks Ed!. It appears no problem to ship directly from Russia to Missouri. It took ten days exactly from ship date on package. The valve stem looks great.

I never get within 50 yards of a Wal-Mart shopper. šŸ˜›

Well I sure have not seen that but if some did not correct the clipping issue it would not surprise me. Originally, my groups were shaky at even 30 yards because of the clipping but now they are very close to the .25 Edgun I sold at 50 yards.

:hoot:

Honestly????

You sold an Edgun at 50 yards? How in the living hell did you manage to do that? What’s the problem…bad breath??? Body odor??? Court ordered injunctions about staying away from “Humans, and/or other Ape-Like Species”

You never cease to amaze me, and living in Arkansas, not 20 miles from a Walmart…I’ve seen some seriously strange shit!

Regards,

Uncle Hoot:

PS: Just like Obama warned us during the Ferguson, Missouri riots…there those damn police departments go, using military equipment again, this time in California, just because some terrorists built a few dozen IED’s, and killed a bunch of people! Cops were actually seen chasing these ‘innocent until proven guilty’ individuals, while wearing bullet proof vests, carrying automatic rifles, and even resorting to military robots to search out and disarm explosive devices in the terrorists apartments!

You’ve got to vote for Hillary to put a stop to this police insanity!!! We MUST get military equipment out of the hands of the police before more terrorists are killed, or seriously injured, when resisting arrest!!!

WASHINGTON — President Obama has ordered a review of the government’s decade-old policy of sending military equipment to local police departments across the country, a senior administration official said Saturday.

[b]Federal officials began reconsidering civilian police department’s use of such equipment — including body armor, mine-resistant armored trucks, silencers and automatic rifles — following the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri. Local police used military-style equipment during violent clashes with demonstrators protesting the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a white police officer.

“The president has directed a review of federal programs and funding that enable state and local law enforcement to purchase military equipment,” the official told CBS News.

“…the president has asked for a review of whether these programs are appropriate; whether state and local law enforcement are provided with the necessary training and guidance; and whether the federal government is sufficiently auditing the use of equipment obtained through federal programs and funding,” the official said.

I did NOT delete a post asking if .30 caliber owners had a “corkscrew trajectory” problem with their .30 Edguns…but thanks for inquiring!

Hoot:

PS: Obama’s trying to convince Parisians they never had a mass shooting. Hillary thinks the answer to terrorists is stricter gun control. I can see the question on the form now…“Have you now, or do you ever, plan a mass shooting with a firearm? Yes…. No…..”

Hoot: did you post and delete again? šŸ˜›

Does the 1st .30 cal gen come with a spring valve delrin seat? mine didnt have one when i took it apart.

Yes! I was hoping Ed would respond at some point. I will still wait for the first one to break but it might actually work. Ernest and Tedd would have a good idea.

hum ……………

It seems that the added length of the new metal valve body will further extend into the main regulator output hole.

The air that is expelled into the pre-charge chamber when fired is assisting the valve and valve spring in its quick return to seat.

Larger seat will increase its life span from the added force on impact applied to seat this heavier valve.

Ed can use or keep a lighter valve spring and not loose air efficiency in the process instead of using a heavier, valve and hammer with a stronger spring.

Instead of using a heavier valve spring to do all the returning, less wear and tear on other external parts also.

one might not need the heavier hammer …………….. I’m guessing, cool beans, Ed !

Any testing results yet? I won’t mess with mine until I break the first stem.

OG – please let us know the results then with the heavier hammer and stem please.

Ed – will the new stem work with the old hammer and spring I now have on my R3 30 cal? Right now I have it set at 875 fps with the JSB 44.75’s.

Eduard,,,, have you produced the same bronze valve for .22cal and .25 cal ???? or this is only for .30cals???

We used to make them this way, but I found out that plastic are working better from the point of veiw of the air consumption and they are quite reliable.

just a question,,, otherwise i also agree with you ,,, and have enough Valve in my stock (BTW šŸ˜Ž šŸ˜Ž :winkn: )
