R3M stock
I’ve noticed in recent newer stocks, there’s a round metal hole near the end of the stock that goes on both sides of the gun. Anyone know what that is for?

Personally I think thats where the NSA put their tracking / listening chip at. Thats why this most recent delivery is taking so long. Guns land in Florida, before hitting customs, NSA grabs them inserts chips then releases them back to customs. Not that Im a conspiracy theorist or anything…..but it was probably the NSA agent known as Bigfoot that did it, or it could be that second stock mount thingy you all were mentioning. Either or.
That´s good! The rocking is irritating ,to say the least. This is also one of the things that make EdGun – or any handmade in small quantities – stand out. He can make updates in the middle of the production without it costing too much. It´s good he listens to the crowd. I fixed my “rock-a-billy” with some careful sanding/Dremelling/ measuring/swearing but it´s better this way. Definitely. Kudos to Ed !
I love the fact that this gun is constantly evolving. I do remember reading threads where members mentioned that action sometimes feel loose from the stock in the back. Thanks Ed for addressing it
It is a second point of attachment of action to the stock.
It was designed to eliminate rocking of the action in the stock.
And it now comes standard on all new Matadors.
Here is a few pics.

This shows where it goes.

My guess is it goes here. Top is Wingman Nz gun and bottom is a R3.
I think you’re right wingman. I took a screen shot of a scene in the video and it appears to have the same allen screw as the one in the barrel.
My educated guess says its a second stock fixing bolt. I noticed a new large machined slotted hole at the rear of the hammer housing on the R3Ms and looking at that bolt alignment on those pics id say lines up with that bolt. My stocks are of the same shipment as yours though Hemn so dont have this bolt. I will post a pic when I get home..
I’m not going to lie…I’d buy a stock real quick if he made one to fix that rocking issue…if you look at my pics of my gun I put a piece if Velcro in the front air tube to stop that damn rocking.
Dear Donny;
First, see Eduard’s work and i like the way how to packing his guns and ship them to his customers, i believe and i didn’t see any other gun shipped and packed like edguns,
second; you are correct, we don’t know what is this! unless the owner or Eduard should inform us.
I grabbed the image and videos from the russian version of the edgun forum: http://edgun.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=19767
Here is another gun, Matador long with the same swivel hole posted on 11/15/2013
I don’t think they are R3’s Hemn. He took the picture same day he got it. The date on the picture is marked 11/13/2013. If you watch the video as well, that’s from a different owner who just recently got his gun too. Both guns are MS so can’t be R3.

OR … Ed & KGB placed a Russian spy chip before the shipment and now NSA has their hands full of removing those/installing their own and that will take even longer time. You know how it works : Remove a chip. Coffebreak.Continue the removal. Lunch. Continue the removal. Meeting. Too tired to continue today – i´ll leave it for tomorrow. Coffebreak. Time to go home. This scenario with every gun PLUS the install of a new one = you´ll be getting those precious rifles in early March …
