Q:

R3M stock

I’ve noticed in recent newer stocks, there’s a round metal hole near the end of the stock that goes on both sides of the gun. Anyone know what that is for?

Dear Brother Donny;

i don’t think Eduard made this, that owner has made this change, per my R3M picture this Matador is R3 not R3M, look the scope mount base rail of my Matador there are four special drilled place for magazine housing, but this one just like all the R3s there are no magazine housing, look at mine;

this is the only one that i can see this change on its stock, Donny where did you get this pic?

Edit; this is the same pic enlarged for better visibility, sorry guys for the poor quality.

Probably! The “rock around the clock” is irritating. Good if it’s been fixed.

Sent from a Tab my wife lured me to buy … If your Aunt has a pair of hairy balls does that make “her” your Uncle ?

Or maybe a second fastening to hinder it from rocking back and forth which some owners have had problems with

I would assume it would be for a swivel stud to mount your sling to it.
Mounting the stud on the side of the stock makes the gun turn to the side while your carrying the gun with the sling.
