That’s the real problem.

Suppose the gun is dangerous and could blew somebody’s eyes off :angrymob:

Instead of looking into the problem as usually the standard approach is denying the problem from the start go and if the gun blows up then they will say it’s because of the bad quality of the air in your region.

Nothing new there… just be careful before a “limited edition and unexpected deadly blow” into the face.

Sounds serious, probably easily fixed by some upgrade/minor modification. It was Ed who advertised how easy these new guns are to work on. That one did not last long. That owner doessound technically apt to me so it is not a matter of dummy owner.

Seems like he forgot to tighten it at all ?

If after some shooting I would see if there is a opening gap at the joint in question.
If there isn’t any gap I would think it’s tight enough.
I’d also use a bit of Blue Loctite on the threads on that hex bolt to help with the vibration with the hammer slap.

If this failure occurs is there a chance of an explosion ?
