First images about this airgun

This pictures are send for Jim to me, from this air rifle that i bought in Precision Airguns and Supplies.

Yrrah, Thank you for dropping by to see us! We are a bit routier than the yellow, but we have way more fun!
😈 😀
KnifeMaker

It was shot by Lampies, at .28″ or 7.2mm at 100 yards with 18 gr. JSB’s. And one was probably what he would call a flier out of the group at that! Still within the .28″ 😆 😉

Looks pretty good to me.

But anybody understand my question.
Why???
I want to know about RAW HM1000
not about TM 1000

The difference is that HM1000 is a hunter rifle. The TM1000 is an airgun designed for Field Target.

If you are doing competitive target shooting i’d go for the field target model and not the hunter model.

If you buy a hunting rifle (powder burner) and try to shoot it in target competitions you’ll get you ass handed to you. 😉

I also believe RAW offers a version for benchrest (yeah I know you guys don’t fully benchrest) which would be the one you’d want.

I believe Yrrah posted this group, here is the Yello post link:

Can the EdGun do better than this at 100 yards for five shots?

Hoot respectfully SHUT UP! lol
Those boobs are too nice to be interuppted! 😳

What do you mean: where?
My friend bought one and we tested it.. For about 2,5 months.
At 100 indoor shooting range (and one of the finest available according to Ted and Zoco 🙂 ) it would do in 10 shot groups almost 4 to 5 flyers. Groupsize: 6 to 10 cm.
And yes we tried different pellets, speeds, …
Even the importer, who did brag about before, consulted RaW itself and they mutualy decided it was not desinged for 100m.
At 50m? 1 ragged hole.

Hi Kazzz,
Not sure Camilof, you, or others still have any interest in this old post which I have only just read. Sorry your rifle didn’t perform. Mine certainly does.
My experience is different and my TM 1000 shoots very well to 100 yards:
This was only the 6th group shot at 100 yards shot at 14.4 fpe with JSB 8.4 gr Exacts: Outdoors and pellets unweighed straight from the tin (not Yrrah rolled either). It does better with pellets fully sorted and I’m sure would be very competitive at your indoor range.

Report: Pretty good air but some light wind which is difficult with .177 cal for the longer ranges.
Outdoors at 100 yards and 71 yards:

My good friend Lampies Lamprecht in RSA shot these groups at 100 yards recently with a TM 1000 and a 3 groove benchmark .22 cal barrel and JSB Exacts: Note 7.2 mm is 0.28 inches and is the best 5 shot 100 yards group yet shot to my knowledge (outdoors);

Perhaps you may like to take another look at the TM 1000 as for whatever reason I think you may have had the odd one out …. Kind regards from Harry in OZ. PS. That young lady in Netherlands colours is very distracting.

It is the Hunter version of the TM. Seems kinda self explaining to me. What else do you want to know. Hell, call them or Straight Shooters and ask the people that have them for sale! 😉

I put this post. And i read your answers. Thanks!

At first I enjoyed it, but I think that girl made that avatar because she enjoys old men oogling her orbs!

Your remarks are far too important to be distracted from, by this juvenile jug jiggling Jill.

Yep. Just the kind of things I have been hearing about them. OFTEN! 😉

Try not to wander too far there Hoot. 😯 😆

For the record, I don’t care anything for the guns. They are not my type of gun. I’m just saying you have a bit more homework to do. Your results are not shared by ohters. Your are intitled to your opinion. That does not set it in stone for world wide users.

Knifemaker

Kazz, go find the post on the Yellow about Yrrah’s TM1000 tests.

KM isn’t in love with the gun he is simply stating what someone else (who happens to test many air rifle at very long ranges) has done through testing.

Not saying you didn’t do your best while testing, but others have had a very different experience. 😀

There aren’t many TM1000’s in FT (I compete on a national scale in the US, tied for 3rd at my first AAFTA Nats in 2012) but when they are shot in FT they typically do well. Not comparing the distances of FT to 100m varmint (front rest only) competition.

How many USFT rifles shoot in the competition you mention? Probably none right?

How many EdGuns are shot in world or national level FT competitions? I’d say one to none. Does that then mean they are not capable? Doubtful right?

It takes a while for rifles to cross many borders into niche and not so niche competitions. 😉
