May I suggest you study the Yarra long range test data, and pellet data on the yellow. YrraH is one of the leaders in long range shooting with pellets from an AG.
One of the things you will learn, is that if the pellets are stable at 50 meters, and not at 100 meters, it is usually caused by orbitration. which is either caused by pellet design, wrong velocity for range, or improper twist. Considering TM1000’s have posted some of the best 100 yard, and 100 meter groups ever posted for an AG, I think it would be wise to test velocity, and or pellets. The proper fps for long range with the RAW BBL. is 880 fps. Muzzle velocity. As little as 15 fps off can cause a problem. Additionally, each bbl. has to be tested by it’s owner individually. If you are not doing this. You are not a serious long range shooter. You can’t really simply on a gun being a bench rest gun out of the box.
There is far more to shooting bench rest comp. than picking up a gun and shooting. It takes research, and dedication. Where are your test results.
Lets see the pellets in slow motion. Fps at muzzle. Trajectory. Spin drift. Lets see anything but shallow guesses. I want hard evidence. Not empty statements as to the gun being no good. Show us WHY the gun is no good!
And back it up!
Is the twist wrong? Is the throating wrong, is the crown wrong, what about the beading. Is the bbl correctly mounted in the action? Are there any burrs in the transfer port. Are the barrels lapped, any rough spots. Are the bores concentric, or are there any constrictions in the bore before the muzzle. What is the problem? Why don’t you know. Do you have a clue to what these things are. Are you a true bench rester, or just some one who knows how to spend money on a gun and pull a trigger.
That my friend is not a bench rest competitor. Just showing up to a match and shooting does not make you a true competitor. A true Competitor would know the answers to all of these questions before even thinking about contacting the supplier of manufacturer. It’s called knowing what you are talking about before opening your mouth to bad mouth some one and their product.
As a true competitor, you should be on the leading edge of finding the problem. Not whining with out a clue. 🙄

Eum.. not to be cocky or dunno what, but I’m a competition shooter too.
I’ve won 100m indoor competition matches, and this TM1000 was especially bought for competition shooting.
As I told, this rifle shot ragged hole at 50m, the distance where most benchrest competition are at held. We shoot at 100m, and it was a disaster.
If you don’t want to hear negative experience, well yes, there is only positive experience left.
Strange they sold only 1 TM1000 in whole benelux, although we have a lot of 100m competition shooters.
Besides, the TM1000 was send back to Martin, owner of RAW and.. he did not find the problem why it was shooting so bad. But he also stated that they don’t have the ability to testfire there rifles at 100m, only 50.
Very strange answer. considering they are being sold for bench rest com. And are doing very well. Of all the reports I have read from around the world, this is the only negative report I have ever read.
They are available with the very best barrels made in the world today. Something is fishy with this last post. 😕
The Bench
Rest crowd is elated with them. I think I for one will take the experts advice.
For what it is worth, fliers are usually an individual pellet problem. That is why comp. shooters roll and weight sort them!

My friend bought one and we tested it.. For about 2,5 months.
At 100 indoor shooting range (and one of the finest available according to Ted and Zoco 🙂 ) it would do in 10 shot groups almost 4 to 5 flyers. Groupsize: 6 to 10 cm.
And yes we tried different pellets, speeds, …
Even the importer, who did brag about before, consulted RaW itself and they mutualy decided it was not desinged for 100m.
At 50m? 1 ragged hole.
At 110 yards (100m) the results were really terriblethem.
Where?
It’s the mix between the TM1000 and Rapid.
We were not amused with the TM. It is in the factory only tested at 50 yards max and… You can see. At 110 yards (100m) the results were really terrible. Also the internals very very fragile and the spring broke several times etc.. All within 1500 shots.
The Dutch importer of Theoben has also decided to stop importing them.

You are as it seems “in love” with a gun, so no problem for me.
All of these things are standards for us to check. As many know here, I’m not the man of lots of words. And I will not change for you because you have something in your mind.
I know we checked the gun, I know the importer checked the gun, I know Martin himself checked the gun. We came all to the same conclusion. The money was even 100% fully refunded.
So it could be a faulty one, but as mentioned before, where are the TM1000’s in our competition?
