I wonder why the jump to 9mm , why not a 30 cal gun that would be the next step up,,,,,
I might jump on a Cricket 30 cal if all the stats were good, This is coming from a guy 1 1/2 years ago would never buy anything bigger than a 177 cal
My 25 marauder taught me every thing I learned in the 70 s is wrong,,,,,,

Now that is an excellent review IMO. Pretty much all of the facts I am interested in. Manny you are right – that lever does seem a bit rough. I realize it needs some leverage to push those large pellets but hopefully it smooth’s out over time. The main negatives I see are a little heavy and a little loud but Donny can fix the noise. Michael said 8.9 lbs so I am guessing the gun is maybe 7.5 plus scope? Did he mention how far the target was? I still could be interested in a gen 2 of that gun maybe next spring. Very well done.

He said in the comments that it was at 35 yards and very windy.

Also for anyone who may be interested, here is another 9mm cricket review posted on gta:

He was getting some very good accuracy as well, 1/2″ ctc at 65 yards, and a 1.8″ ctc 12 shot group at 100 yards. Both with JSB’s i believe…

That’s a good review he put up ! Got me thinking about one for bobcats 🙂

😯 Wow it sure doesnt look so heavy but looks deceive.

the Gun alone is 8.9 pounds,…than you ad the scope :biggrinn:

LOL, you going Hollywood High tech on me :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

We are talking simple airgunners backyards videos here :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

Well with the right equipment (a bit more expensive) I can hold your gun steady and bring the background in. 😉 Sometimes they do that effect in movies. In Photoshop I can create layers to manipulate them separately but it might look a bit funky. 😯

Depends on the camera lens angle and magnification. 😉 I can make that target look ten feet away or two hundred yards.

Yeah but not when you have the shooter and/or gun in the foreground you can’t,
when you have those in the foreground is much easier to judge distance.

Is it just me or that sure don’t look like 50 Yards ?

this is my 48 yards bench

If I had to guess it sure looks more like my 32 yards bench

Manny judging distances can be deceiving a lot of times. It doesn’t loot like 50 yards to me either. But when you have building around for some reason everything seems closer than it really is. I have a spot on my pesting grounds that is 53 yards out from where I shoot sparrows resting on that tree. I could bet million bucks its 38 yards tops but its farther than it looks.
When I do 50 yards inside a building it looks like 70 yards, Wierd…….

It does ! I feel instantly a much closer relationship to Uncle Hoot: . That wiley mountainman …
