SA80 STORM
Yo guys, A mate of mine who just completed his second tour in afghan brought me back a little present and now I’m just looking to fit it to my storm. I made a few minor adjustments but it fits pretty good as is.
so before I go any further I thought Id let you guys have a peek an see what you think? Also have any of you ever considered making the back of the scope mount symmetrical to the front?

ACF – I dont like the A2 look that much… an A4 or even better a SAM-R on the other hsnd !
Sounds like the AR series, bugs worked out I mean. 🙂
The new A2 is so good there are not even gas stoppages on it.It’s a different weapon now.

They had the bugs worked out by the time I got my hands on one. Never jammed and very accurate.

Did it not fall apart in your hands, YN? I imagine you squeezed the trigger and the barrel fell off the end with a “boing!!” noise.

I said I wanted to cut off that part of the gun before. I just never had the “fuck it” day yet and done it. Plus there is always something else to do thats more important. I think it would look so much better without it.

I like the weapon.It takes some getting used to but it shoots well and the SUSAT is excellent.I had a chat with one of our SF people when I was in their arms store recently and they had A2s on the shelf.Now that HK has sorted out the old problems the boys actually prefer it to the M4 type they have been using.(The Diemarco)
