Q:

Scope riser rail

Does anyone know where I can purchase a 200mm plus long 11mm scope riser rail, preferably in the UK, but not too important if post is quick. I think there’re called a tri-rail.
Thank you………

Joe.
B-square is a very quality company and it located in Jacksonville, Florida.
About the Riser i will not advised you to check their site because it is very poor but if you want take a look here
Type in “B-Square 17021” and “B-Square 20062″at Google…This is what i have for personal use.
This way i can rise the scope wherever i want without need shimming the rings.
Those product i was referring above have an overall height of .680(together) plus rising benefit…if you want to place scope higher forget those ring…get other brand(standard)medium/low/high .
Also BKL offer BKL-388 but i prefer B-square due Quality and precision considering vertical alignment of the scope after mounting .

To the image provided you can see a complete set up with standard low rings.Mine are lower than this set up http://redboston.com/miscfora/2013-03-22%2022.36.05_2sm.jpg

check their 2013 catalog here ( just press next page arrow from the point i left)

quote Killerqueen33:

You don’t need 200+ one because it does not exist at least as a riser(only standard like AF tri-rail one)….you need something likethis(Overall length is about 5.5″).
….and very low profile offset rings like Bsquare 21052 depends your scope (1 inch or 30mm).
I own both of them for LR shooting and i can assure you about the quality which is top.
Height is .5″‘ for the riser and .200 for the rings. That means the overall height of a standard “low” ring.
Once screwing the screw in the rear of riser you can change your scope incline whenever you want and after adjustment there is an another screw which help to lock the rising screw.
Front of mount base react like a hinge (stay steady).
I mounted mine over the tri-rail on my bullpups and other applications too.

KQ33,

Do you have the link for that piece. I have been looking for something like that! Thanks.

Joe

He is looking for the tri rail to put on his rifle. Now once he has the tri rail, the setup you suggested would be an excellent one for him to use.

I have weaver rings fitted on the weaver rail of my Riser bridge mount which have a dovetail to the bottom and fit in guns 11mm built in male dovetail.

Every gun it’s not the same….For example you can use normal low to medium rings on that riser for a AF because i know that eye placement , while you do shooting is too low so you need more height on your scope if comfortable is the purpose.
All i want to say is that instead putting a Tri-rail and medium ring to a Condor for example, you can fit Tri-rail with riser and rings i suggested. That way you will have the same height of first set up plus “risers” benefit.
Tell me..why you referred to a riser mount? do you have a rifle with a barrel droop?…Maybe my understanding in term “riser mount ” is wrong.
…In my case Riser mounts are useful for Long Range shooting in order to adjust the elevation of my scope according the bullet drop if my shots are still hitting low while my elevation adjustment maxed out. .

Hi,

So you have the weaver rings and the dovetail to weaver rail? Surely this make up is too low and makes it awkward for eye placement at the rear of the scope, or am I missing something here?

Matt.
