scope wont zero in

I just bought a condor, and cant make the scope zero inn. (4-16×50 airforce)
I have the scope rail and when installed, it was shooting low, I tried raising the cross hairs, but the adjustment knob hit its upper limit and still shoots low.

Either the barrel is in a tad crooked or the scope is. Do you use a tri rail up top ?? If so try taking it off and mounting the scope rings direct to the frame and see if that helps… 😉
not to highjack the thread but i have a similar question. my gun shoots rigt and left depending on distance. if i am right on at 35 yards and shoot close i am 2 inches left. is my scope crooked (mounted crooked)
Well when your standing under a tree or something walks around the corner of the house ,you need to know where the aim point is for such a short shot.
My condor is sighted for 25 yards ,i am 1 1/2″ low at 10 yards which is bottom of where the thick part of the duplex starts on 11 power. It is 1″ high at 30 and back to zero at 50′,back down 1” at 70″ ,
I think i am 4″ to 5″ down at 100′ but haven’t shot that much out there
5 yard zero is one cats head width lower than bottom of where duplex starts, and or use the Lazar for 5 yard.zero, Lazar is 2″ high at 3′. i have walked out at night and took a rat a 3′ in the garage.never looked into scope.
Just because these suckers shoot hard doesn’t mean you can’t use them.
i am way out at 50 yards. id sooner try nd kick it if it were so close but i am luchy enough to have many permissions close to where i live
Wow people really zero in their powerful Condors at 10 and 14yds? You learn something new every day.
might be a bit late for the reply but if your adjustment will not raise the X height enough remove the barrel then rotate the bushes 180 and tighten them up again.

This is how i do it and it works well for me.just remember what magnification to adjust to and you have an exact aim point for 10 yards.

That’s a really good idea with the duplex reticle!
zero at the most common distance that you are shooting, me its 25 yards. then shoot at 10 yards and without moving anythhing with a duplex cross hair where the bottom line gets thick. adjust your magnification of your scope while sitting on the sand bags until where the thick line starts is where your bullet holes are.or you could use the mil dots. then you have zero for 10 yards.
This is how i do it and it works well for me.just remember what magnification to adjust to and you have an exact aim point for 10 yards.

That’s not how the mildots work, they will change with each change in magnification, I have mine zeroed in at 14 yards and shooting something at 12 yards on magnification 10 it’s -1 mildot but if I jump up to 20 magnification it’s 2.22 mildots. I have been doping the scope lately and makes it seem like old times.
80grit beat me to it with the chairgun download it’s a must have right there with a chrony which I have to get still.

At that distance zero it in at the firsl mildot below the cross hairs.
You need a laser son for that close stuff.
back up to 25 or 30 yds and it will work fine
