Semi
I’ve found myself investing a significant amount of time and effort on turning the condor into a semi auto, eat all comers, beast.
So I’m now wondering…
Is it just me?
I’ve got 1:1 a plastic (laser cut acrylic) proto going for the feed mechanism, and a working concept for an e-valve that can handle the rpm.
Costs are redonculous, between valves, machined parts, and ic’s I’m looking at more than 400 bucks in parts alone.
As you all know, I’m a noob in many fields.
I guess my question is : Is there any interest, or is it just me?
If there is, I’d love to show you guys the semi proto, perhaps get some feedback?
( I saw the last guy that showed up with a semi concept…I’d rather not go that route.)

Ok, so I just went through a 3000 psi fill in 4 shots.
The solenoid im using to trigger the big valve has a little button on it, for manual activation. This is what I’m using instead of the e-trigger for the first test.
First shot I did with no pellet in the the gun. It recoiled pretty damned hard, almost coming off the table. As this gun in this config is not exactly light, we know there is power to be had.
Second shot I did with a pellet. No supersonic crack, my TT supressor (held in via a single grub screw) came out about 2 mm. There is obviously plenty of air, I felt a significant amount shoot out of the gaps between the power wheel and the frame.
Ok, so have I learned:
1. The setup is indeed hot swappable, everythings fits.
2. With manual activation, the valve opens slow and opens long.
3. No leaks, things work as they should.
Need to do:
1. Test again with E-trigger, try to find the shortest voltage cycle time needed to open the valve. If I’m going to sling .22 14.3 gr pellets at subsonic speeds, then can this valve get me 50-100 shots, instead of 4?
2. Need ability to gather fps data, how fast are these things going?
3. Get sand bags or equivalent.
4. I need to find the most monster .22 pellets available. Heavy and tight fitting, for the next round of tests.
I’ve googled “Jerry’s Slugs” but couldn’t find anything. Could you guys possibly help me out in finding some serious .22 pellets?
