Shooting the Edgun inside my house at 2 AM. How quiet is it?
The Edgun is so quiet that when used in conjunction with the add-on SM, I was able zero my new scope while my wife and four year old were asleep and neither of them woke up! I was shooting from my family room into the garage where I had a couple of phone books set up. My house is only 1550 square feet so I thought it was pretty impressive that neither one of them heard a thing and believe me, my wife would have said something if I had woken her up with the sound of me shooting my pellet gun inside the house at 2 AM. lol:
Have you guys ever used Burris Signature Rings? They are the best thing since sliced bread! When using my other rings or the burris rings with the zero offset inserts that come with the rings, I had to crank my scope’s elevation dial up to the max in order to zero at 30 yards. I took my Burris Signature rings off of one of my powder burners and mounted it on the Edgun. I then drove to buy a set of Burris Posi-Align Offset Inserts.
Burris Signature Riflescope Rings also accept Burris Sign Ring Pos-Align Offset Inserts so you can virtually sight-in your gun without moving the riflescope adjustments. Lens systems perform at their optimum when all lenses are optically centered. By keeping the internal optics centered, you’ll see through the riflescope all of the clarity, sharpness, and brightness that the optics designers intended for you to see. The Burris Pos Align Offset Signature Inserts also correct for any mis-alignment caused by receiver holes drilled off center, or the bases or rings being slightly off perfect center.
I started by finding the center adjustment for my windage and the center adjustment for my elevation and then positioned the inserts so that the scope would point down toward the barrrel. I ended up going from a maxed out scope to zeroing my scope without touching the internal adjustments. I will shoot tomorrow or Saturday and fine tune the scope settings with the windage and elevation knobs but now I have the full range of adjustments back. I forgot how much I love these rings until now. Well I better go to sleep now since it’s past 3 am here.

I’m sorry for not trusting you Kiba but I just had to know for sure…
I’ve sent an email to burrisoptics.com :
I am sending this email in hope that you will solve my dilemma . I have a 30mm tube scope and a Weaver rail on the gun.
I want to buy the Burris Signature Ring High and the Pos-Align Offset Insert Kit . Although I found the 30mm rings ,
there no sign of 30mm inserts. Am I supposed to use the 1 inch insert or I have to search harder for the 30mm insert ?
This is very confusing…
Also, I live in Romania and I want to buy the setup from America. Is there a dealer closer to me than that ?
Please send me a link showing exactly what to buy and where to buy it .
Thank you for your time!
and the replay:
Dear Customer,
The 30mm rings come only with 0’s and 10’s and that is all we make. Here is a link to our Romania dealer.

So Kiba was right… To bad, all my friends have 30mm scopes and it’s becoming more and more popular because of the benefits that this size brings.
I’ve dreamed of zeroing at 50 yards optically centered, or maybe even more, and even using the second mildot above target as a zero so I can use all my elevation mildot ( as I have only 4 🙂 ) without using the internal adjustments . 🙄
Well, at least I’ll buy them cheap from a dealer near by 😀
I’ll let you know more when they’ll arrive to me.
