A single shot tray for a (shoulda, coulda, woulda been) semi – auto is like playing Russian Roulette with a muzzle loader.
The Hummer was a big mistake from KG´s part if you ask me. When they came to conclusion that it wouldn´t work as intented semi-auto they should´ve ditched the whole concept and not tried to patch up a bolt action from those existing parts. They should´ve thrown away the blueprints and designed a new breech from the ground up. Just my :2cents:
Maybe the dealers should make these single-shot trays available for free until Kalibrgun comes up with a retrofit-fix kit (which the dealer should quickly make owners aware of as a confidence-builder)?

Don’t get me wrong…I love this gun. It’s well made otherwise, accurate, insane power for a .22, light, short, and very well
built. It’s not the dealer’s fault. They are doing what they can.
UPDATE: Apparently the problem lies with the indexing pin that contacts the magazine, to push it up for the next reload . It is not spring loaded to keep it in the forward position to contact the magazine. A FIRM return of the bolt to the forward locked position, after cocking, overcomes the inertia of the pin and forces it forward, then it can index the magazine for the next shot.
Poor ‘Ol Uncle Hoot:
PS: Further…per your suggestion, please be advised when a 71 year old is already taking double stool softener tables every night, it is
difficult to keep one’s shit together!!! These are difficult times in many ways. 🙄
As far as I’m concerned with the Humming Bird , Fuck It . It did not deliver as promised . Why would anyone want a single shot tray for a rifle that is a
repearter , which said it was going to be a semi-auto rifle in the first place . HOOT , we all love you dearly , but you really need to get your shit together .
Poor Uncle :hoot: ,
Cricket Compact was the way to go :ugeekn:
Hope it sorts out very soon for you 😀
Kalibrgun should do the utmost to repair their mistake :angrymob:
