Q:

Sitting on my steps waiting for Brown to show up

“Out For Delivery” three of the sweetest words every uttered.

My Short Matador is almost in my shaking, sweaty hands.

I had surgery last Tuesday, so I probably can’t do much for a few days, but I can take it to bed with me tonight and snuggle with it.

For the sake of health, should I wear a scope cover when I sleep with my Matador????

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot 😯

PM sent Hoot.

Jeff or Tedd will certainly have you covered as soon as they see this.
The barrel does not fit into the breech on my standard matador.
It fits flush against the breech… I’ve never taken that small block
off the front of the breech (only the large one that holds the bolt).

I don’t foresee this holding you back for more than a few more hours.

The barrel isn’t touching the breech! Check this out, and I need some ideas as to what I need to do to attach the barrel to the breech.

1) The barrel doesn’t screw into the breech, it appears to be a flush fit.

2) What does that O ring attach to? Is something missing? There appears to be no indentation for an O ring in the breech, or on the barrel. Am I missing a connecting part?

I “dry fired” it this morning and got the same blast I got last night. The barrel is NOT loose. In fact, the hex bolts that hold it in place are so tight that I did not force them loose. I’m better off waiting on instructions from more knowledgeable people.

I took it out on the back deck and shot a few pellets into the lake.

As luck would have it, the last pellet dieseled and the report sounded like a rifle and my neighbor was nearby on his boat. I hotfooted inside and laid low. He can’t see too well, so I know all he heard was the report and the three foot water plume in front of my dock.

I’ll get some chrony results tomorrow. The Short Edgun is really handy in size. It appears to be a bit louder than the standard due probably to the short shroud. There are a few fixes for that.

More later.

Just make sure to lube her good the rifleing is hell on the head.

Hoot,

How long are you planning to keep this short Matador? I haven’t seen you keep any gun longer than 2 weeks, LOL.

Good deal Hoot and yes probably a good idea to let her wear her scope cover, although it’s nice to snuggle with a gun as long as they are not loaded they can’t talk back like a women would 😯

I certainly hope you don’t get the “Ted” treatment – which consists of them not delivering it – only to have the tracking number update to “Delivery Rescheduled” – and on a Friday, no less; so you have to wait until Monday.

This is the story of my Edgun.

Yes you can sleep with your new matador… just clean it properly… to avoid infections…

Im infected yet, i get the EdGun Virus…

🙄 😉

Mac

You’re sick Hoot 😆 😆 😆

Hope you new gun arrive safely since you have waited for so long 😆 😆
