So someone on the GTA forum pressed Mike from Citrus Airguns for the price he’s going to set on the p12 and he’s saying $1000. Guess I’ll just be sticking with my Crickets.

I think Wing commented a while back he had 80 hours in the two guns and they are fairly custom pieces before ready to shoot. Heck the 177 wouldn’t chamber a pellet. I guess you could buy it and hold it upside down.
All the BS aside I might buy one once the bugs are worked out and the prices were at or close to Marauder prices.
I just looked at R & L website and they recently had re-man Marauders for. $345.00 !! and they were already re-man’d so you can make an honest case this thing should be a crap load cheaper than $1000

Well if he can’t sell by the numbers the Chinese want. They will find somebody that will. The Chinese don’t price there stuff so the greedy Americans can double there profits.
He will be up to his ass modding an tuning these. Hope he’s got quick fingers. And when they don’t perform to the high standards he’s putting out. Customers won’t be happy.
If priced right and they don’t produce well you get what ya pay for. It is beyond that now

Please read Wingmans review page nine, his assessment on price! We will soon see images of Wingy’s impressive test targets as proof of the P12’s accuracy. Potential buyers keep in mind Wingman has the skills to turn a straw and bag of frozen peas into a accurate PCP.

I like the idea of a US domestic version, do we know where the crossman is made china ?? I had always assumed but now want to know, i’ll go look.
Edit: made in USA and possibly some foreign components. I think I’ll order one of the new versions as soon as they come available. !!!
In think that crossman could do it… If they came out with a marauder sitting in a bullpup stock simialar to that of the edgun( i think thats the look everyone is after). At a price under 750$. It would probally do well.
I have been always wondering why you (US friends) haven’t jumped on the Marauder BP train.
I’ve seen several ones (Hoot, WingM, etc) and they are just beautiful and tunable.
Don’t recall the price of the rifle+BP kit but seemed to me to be very affordable.
lets say the marauder and were or what service do you get from crosman they tell you flat out its due to mass production and give you another gun.
I guarantee one issue is different: the Marauder is about half the price.
The Edguns and Crickets have such a following, you can get information and custom parts. It’s remarkable how much existing knowledge there is with just four guys: Wingman, Ernest, Ride and hacampbell. The clone won’t start with that “value-added” resource.
China has become such a thieving market bully, handing money over to their industrial machine is distasteful. If there’s a non-Chinese option, that has my preference. Ethics shouldn’t take the back seat to performance, or price.
Wing has made a gun of it but the reality is they were junk as delivered and the average guy would of only been able to shoot 1 of the 2 and for a very short period before o-ring failure. which for most cheapo guns means return to dealer for repair. I unfortunately have to buy Chinese made products that go into larger assemblies and they are per my customers specs. and I hate it. A royal pain in the ass. Low quality, un-notified substitutions, long lead times, no service, it just sucks. I say a cricket is actually cheaper at $1600 or $1800 dollars.
I think it is time for us to make a american made bullpup. I am pretty sure you can make a fair profit here in the states at the cricket or Edgun price range and support our economy.

He needs to explain to me why it needs to cost more than a marauder, other than greed, I got a feeling that Snow Peak wants to sell volume to the masses in the U.S. market and this price point won’t get it done. If the price is going to be set based on greed, why not $1200.
What an excuisite way to rob WM´s great test and use a few loose sentences out of it to promote them Snow Cones, aka “KAM Stinger”. Why change the name – and why for that ?? Why not Dirk Diggler? Ronnie Mac ?
BTW – Which one of the Russians cost 2800$ ?? Maybe a Blonde Ucranian but none of the Bullpup´s as far as i know.

will meet or exceed all needs you have for a bull pup I have been talking with Snow Peak and
putting my one request for changes on the gun. These Bull pups have no different issues than

As to o-rings every gun out their has had issues with them at some point so i think its time to drop the issue of made in china I saw wingmans review also lets see I think shot for shot it was as good as both russian guns selling for 16 to 2800 and the shot count was on unregulated power as to the noise I will make the quiet. It was mentioned by several that some one capable needs to go thru the gun well I think steve would agree that I’m more than capable of making this gun a solid performer. and the gun is being sold starting at 1000.00 I think the mere suggestion it should be less is crazy titanium tube grade 12 bolts yes thier o-rings may suck wow I’ll spend a 1.50 in new rubber for a gun with this potential and yes we have already sold most and several will be converted to 25 cal
Bold move putting a price like that on a rifle that he hasn’t even handled yet.. even with all the mods and fixes a grand is a big ask.
