Ironically the term redneck came from a firearm safety technique used by coal miners :3:
Hey I did the same thing, only it was with a 600 grain arrow out of my recurve bow at about 6 feet! The Chrony actually survived. Luckily I missed the digital display.
I shot my krony the first day I got it!
I shot a hole in my ceiling by my front door entrance. Nobody has taken notice. Quickly found out no place for cricket in the house!
I shot my door closet while trying to find out the speed of one of my guns! I never fix it, the hole still there! 😀
No wonder I like this forum the best, I am surrounded by rednecks.
Just a few years ago I shot the bed rail of my friend’s absolutely NEW Chevy truck with a .22 rim fire. Luckily the bullet did not pass through and he was scheduled to get the bed coated with Line-X. The bastard still shamed me out of a big jug of Crown Royale!
I am still thankful that no one was struck by the fragmented bullet.
I’d say that scores right up there near the top 10. Be grateful you didn’t loose an eye.
Keyser, I too shot my buddy’s antenna out in Wyoming shooting P-dogs, leaning out the passenger window. It put a nice kink in it. That was years ago and we still go out together.
I’ve hit my antenna as well. What happened about six months ago was I hit my mirror on the inside outer edge (next to mount) pellet bounced back and hit rear passenger back window. My truck has a small piece that doesn’t roll down with the rest of the window. Dad borrowed my truck and after he comes back I noticed the spiderweb window. It didn’t click till able a week later what actually happened. Pellet. Clearly blew right past my head and into back passenger window. Now that is real bad
Well I’m impressed, with keyser soze shooting, now that’s some fine shooting!
It’s no question it’s happened to a lot of air gunners. I’m still not impressed. I have no time to change my mirror
I shot my friend’s radio antenna right off his truck while shooting squirrels. It’s funny now but he was pissed at the time
See eelect don’t you feel better now??? It was just a mirror………………….
Being an airgun rookie, a month ago I was shooting out my basement window on a black bird skippping around my back yard. I was excited because this was going to be my first starling kill ever. Took the shot and heard a loud crack. I was confused as to what happened. After investigation, I had shot clear through the window molding. The air was so low in the AT causing the regulator to dropped off. 😯 Yup, I did say “MF” out loud.
Also shot through the same basement wall practicing with my 2007 Bowtech Allegience bow in the winter. Talk about trigger on a back tension release. Arrow went clear to outside of the house

I watch a show called street outlaws, at the beginning of the show, they have a disclaimer.
And I quote:
Just because we’re dumb asses, does’nt mean you can be too!
So don’t try this at home!
