I nicked the end of my thumb with my first shot from a bullpup.. turns out what I thought I was holding was not the air tube.. 😳

Been there done that!
2012 Rubicon same thing only a squirrel. :3:

I’ve shot my deck floor, my siding, and my eaves! Then I adjusted my trigger back a pound or so. “Hair trigger” isn’t always a good thing on a gun with no safety!

PUSSY !!!

Did that with a 700 remington ’06 on my brother’s truck hood… Those old ’69 chebby’s had that raised bead running down the middle of the hood… jumped out and laid the gun on the hood to shoot a deer. He was clear in the scope… barrel, not so much. cut the whole little raised section half a .270 bullet deep… didn’t get the deer either. My brother was not a happy camper neither… 🙂

My Cricket had an Ernest tuned hair trigger. Great trigger for shooting from the bag but too light for me when hunting. No accidents but would have felt better with a safety on the gun.

Anyway, hair trigger not good for truck shooting…

You know the old saying ” Shit happens” Many of time I’ve wondered if I had hit my mirror, I’m sure it’s happened to all of us truck shooters.

OK the story.
I didn’t stupidly shoot my mirror outright but had one of them birds lined up. The ones that continues to walk the lawn and sometimes stop of a bit. When I first stopped and saw them I debated if I was going to shoot them or not. They didn’t seem to mind me till I pull cricket from back seat and flip out the scope caps. Then the start to walk towards building and I kept following up on them and when trigger time came I was lined up with mirror. Those mirrors are tough. I had hit them a few times but never in the glass area. I was not impressed to say the least

Nice one eelect………hahaha I bet you said MF!

Gotta hear the story brah
