sorting pellets
This is a real quick way to sort , and the crossmans as you guys know need it, i like the pellet , and this helps get rid of the fliers.
crosman hollow point
THIS IS A VIDEO

You can do this to JSB pellets and they will go to the same spot.
This is a whole can of 500 crosman .177 HP , 4 different piles , you reckon the one’s off the top and the ones off the bottom are some flyer’s.
could probably put in 1 or 2 more dividers if you wanted and even separate even more.

made this to sort them further

Ok , guys the main problem i have with the crosman pellets is you put one or most pellets in the breech and it goes in easy and some go in pretty snug,
So if you sit there and mike the pellets with calipers, you will see the difference in the skirt diameters. the heads are pretty consistent.
When you roll the pellets down the clip board , it automatically sorts the pellets by size, because the different size of the skirts, roll to a different location.
The clip board is at just enough angle for the pellets to roll, mark the top place, and put the pellets at the same spot each time.
IT’s really quick and i think that small diameter size variation has more to do with pellets not shooting in the same spot than weight.
The crosman h.p. is one of the most accurate pellets that i have tried, but with fliers. and its a good deal.
IF you do this sorting like this you will see that the crosman h p , needs it the most and jsb, and others are not near as bad. i had to do allot of jsb’s before i even saw them go to a different place.
