Talon Stubby "Extreme" Valve Pics
The Talon Stubby “Extreme” valve is a modified Condor valve.
Here are the two valves. The upper one is the Extreme, the lower is the high flow Condor: (the Extreme spring seemed heavier, stronger)

Here is what you install:
You don’t need to remove the valve from the Talon bottle. Simply unscrew the existing valve with the provided tool:
Remove the OEM valve core and spring and drop in the new spring, then screw in and tighten the new core. You are done.
The modification is inside the valve and I didn’t want to take it apart, but I assume the stem has been made larger because it delivers a serious blast of air over the Condor.

Were those target emailed to you? I know the bullets you posting about and I’ve never seen that fellow post anything but chrony strings. Should I look somewhere else?
I saw some targets but….. He claims he is getting about 920 fps/97 fpe with my exact setup. We will see.
I’ve seen the “very accurate” claim for these but no evidence. Looking forward to your results.
I get about a 100 fpe with 18″ barrel with the 6-rings.
I have some new (different vendor) 52 grain solid slugs coming to try that are supposed to be extremely accurate out past 100 yards from a choked LW barrel. They are regular pistol slugs sized down to .2495 diameter from a cast of .2535 and are only 12 bhn. The do about 97 fpe but have a higher velocity. I will be testing them shortly.
Oh, I wasn’t thinking you would be able to answer that Hoot, it was more of a question for someone who already knows what they look like. I have a couple HiFlo valves that are not in tanks but no Talon valves that are out of tanks. And no vise to remove a tanked Talon valve… 😕
Uh, 75 feet? You mean 25 yards? Hole in ones are expected at this distance amigo… 😆
I’m not touching that valve. I don’t have that skill level.
Besides, I was shooting five shot, one hole groups at 75 feet this afternoon, with a Bugbuster 4X scope I popped on to reduce the weight.
Taking off the Millet scope lost two lbs on the rifle, and it made a world of difference. Next is a high velocity Wok trigger replacement, a Subbsonic hyper-steel cocking knob, and an aluminum shorter shroud. Then I’m gonna stop and just use this beast.

Hoot, you want to be careful not to mar the black delrin seal or bend the valvestem. The best way is to put the valve back together,ajust the Tophat down to around 3mm, take a flat head screwdriver and leverage up evenly under the Tophat until the stem comes out. If the stem isn’t ported then there is some voodoo blackmagic going on here.
Won’t I have to remove the valve collar from the bottle to see that part?
Is the HiFlo hole in the spring retainer larger than the Talon’s?

I didn’t have to take the valve collar out of the air tank, so I didn’t get to see that part of the valve. The black spring retainer has no hole in it.
If someone will tell me how to remove that black spring retainer without breaking it, I’ll try to get some pics of the inside of the Extreme stem.

The targets I saw were from another guy using the same sizing. That’s why I am a bit suspicious until I test them.
