The tank is a standard TalonP spinloc tank.
What kind of tank did you use in this mod?
Oh geez, I hope he knows that I love his stuff, and that I think it’s awesome (I’ve bought two sets).
I realize that last sentence was poorly written in that it sounds like I’m stuck with Wok.
There are other choices (Tony offers some) but Wok is the one I use because it has the most adjustability and fits the gun’s style.
Of course we all know that Adam could produce something like this, he’d go insane milling them by hand, but still
Bah, if I offended Adam, it wasn’t my intention at all
Sanguish, Adam may get the wrong idea here! 😆 😈
It’s so sad that there isn’t a stock like that that will fit a standard paintball tank.
Tony sells one that is a non-tactical style. But still.
I guess it’s will Wok for me!
Nice.
Especially the stock.
And all that work, but you still have the crappy original trigger? Get a Wok Trigger shoe.
Why Air Force still ships that plastic POS is beyond me.
first….very nice setup looks awesome
second with all that creativity…get a drill and tap kit sears (and many others sells tap and drill bit together, for ease of finding screws i would go for 1/4″ screws, but smaller would do as well.
drill two holes front and two rear through the scope rail into the frame, counter sink the holes a bit(no special bit needed just a bigger drill, so the screws you find fits flush, and your rifle will be battle hardened !
should the rail on the bottle come off its no big deal…but if the scope falls off it could ruin the hunt as well damage the scope should it drop
i love superglue as much as the next guy…but 2 component epoxy is way better, it will form a stronger bond, and is not as brittle, so when the frame flexes a bit it should cope better
anyway cool mod keep it up
That’s right slick bud!
I haven’t counted how may shots I can get out of the TalonP tank because I generally try to keep it around 2500psi for shot consistency. It seems like it takes at least a dozen or more shots to drop it down below 2200. I imagine someone on the forum has done a total output count for that size tank. I haven’t actually purchased or tried a larger 17ci tank.
Good day my friend, I wonder how many shots you get with this cylinder of 17 ci? sera that can not find a stock with such a, but for a larger cylinder 490cc to hug …… and very beautiful work done on the gun ……

A few choices here.
An adapter from a standard valve to a paintball tank is a simple thing, assuming you have access to a machine shop. Perhaps you should contact Talon Tunes to see if he will make you one? If not him, hit the Mod section and ask if someone there would be willing to make you one.
Yes, I remember seeing your posts as I was planning this project and was pleased to see I wasn’t the only one who saw a M4 shorty hidden in the Talon. I think your idea of using a 17ci tank would greatly improved the stability of the adjustable stock (and give you more shots per fill) if you can adapt a paintball tank to the Airforce valve. At the length I keep my stock adjusted to (about 3/4 out) a longer tank should still be fully hidden in the stock sleeve with an inch or two to spare. If only Rap4 would make a Magpul CTR style stock for these tanks, then I’d be a happy man!
Shucks, you beat me to it! I was planning to do almost the exact same thing to a Talon except with a longer tank. I was even planning on the Magpul. Well, at least I know how it will look when I get done. Sweet!

Love the stock on that.
