Q:

TalonTunes Big Bore…….(pics)

We have been developing these rifles for years and just wanted to introduce “The Extreme Hunter”

Thes will be available in the very near future.

It is .40 caliber with 28″ barrel and Timney trigger

Right now we have a 230 grn slug moving at 920FPS max for 432 FPE at the muzzle, good for three shots all touching at 50 yards.

These rifles will be made to order in any config you want.

These rifles are constantly being tested and will not be released until they are the best they can be as backed up by TalonTunes.
Hope you like what you see.
Big Thank You….
Tony

Too Fucking funny Bogman. 😀

Personally, would love to see the gun tested with more of a variety of bullets and not just one.

That was a half assed test and post and did NOT make the gun look good with that group.

Anybody who buys a gun and runs 1 particular bullet (which it apparently did not like) through it and nothing else and post on the results, doesn’t do the gun or himself a service.

Tisk Tisk Tony, you shoulda sent the gun to me for a thorough testing. 😆

Yeah yeah Tof., we know there are other big bores. Tony, however, is serious about accuracy, like shooting acorns out of a tree. Plus, he pays attention to feedback which he sifts through and products evolve (e.g. the angled tank adapter). He’s got a group of “product testers” here and he’s not deaf. Add the dedication and machining skills, contacts and that he’s “marinated” in the airgun biz…gotta be good.

Three shots touching at 50 yds and it’s not done yet? 😯

Bet these guns will end up a notch or two above the rest; I’m waiting.

That was the TT bigbore…. 🙄

(You’ve ordered one but you don’t know what it looks like????) 😆

I believe that was Tony’s gun. Look at the name on the 1st page and the photo.

Looks like a wave of orders is building, Tony, mine included. When you’re ready to let ’em out, “surf’s up!” With the combo of a gorgeous rifle that’s accurate and well built, and a starting audience ready to help launch it; this could really take off.

It’s also great to know you’re taking your time and product testing/improving before release.

Curious, does Nitrogen testing chill the metals/parts to a point where they’re more brittle? I know the tanks at work get pretty iced over.

Great work! Looks like the Italian ethos of super-fine craftsmanship is alive and well!

I know you’re busy Tony, but I would love to know if this project is still coming along.

Thanks again for the great parts, looking forward to getting my TTTA when the next run is finished. 😀

Whoever brought this post back up, screw you. I’d forgotten about this gun and now that it’s surfaced again…. I WANT ONE! 😆

Definitely a great looking gun. Certainly worthy of the TT name on it! Well done!

i want one !!! where do ya sign up ?

How is development going with this gun now?

Way to go man!!! Right freekin on…

Awesome.

That young lady has already done something many of us old timers have never done.

Well she put a nice little 5 point on the ground last nite with the 40 cal. I will post pics when I figure out how to put them on here. 25 yard shot double lung the deer ran about 100 yards with a nice blood trail easy recovery and the most important thing ethical quick kill.
