Q:

Tank angled

This pictures are from my friends here in argentina, they work hard thinking how to make the airforce more comfortable and here are the solution.
You can charge it same way as the original or by the quick fill.
Really a great work from Lucas, Sebastian and Leo.

Going to give this one a bump. Has anyone done anything with this? There was at least two people stating they would have a working model in a matter of weeks…. then all interest dies.

Surely I’m not the only one wanting an angled tank adapter with a QF and gauge….

any updates from anyone?

Why is it that everytime someone gets close to completing a regulator they vanish?

Ok buying a paintball setup is easy so no probs there but what is happening to the builders.

Are they, the designers, being paied off to keep it shut or is there an underworld that I do not know about?

I have given up holding my breath. If someone builds this bit of kit that so many people want send me a message, until then this is just another day dream.

Selph: Excellent! Glad to hear it and I’m looking forward to your pics and
design! I’m only making a run at this as I didn’t think one was underway
with ‘production’ in mind. I knew that you and – I believe – CronicAsh(?)
were working the concept as well, but without updates I assumed that work
had stalled. And, being the impatient type… πŸ˜€

Here’s to hoping that one of the protos goes to production in the
not-too-distant future!

SAVAGESAM: Close. Very close, in fact. Its actually pronounced
“fare-deck’t-yager”; with emphasis on ‘deckt’. Loosely translated auf
Deutsch “Cloaked/Hidden Hunter” πŸ˜‰

I’ll meet with the machinist Thu to review the design. I should see the initial,
pre-bored piece sometime next week (assuming my design doesn’t absolutely
SUCK – or is waaaaay to complex).

Angle Shamangle….We want the regulator and we want it in a short and tight package.

Whatever anyone designs if it ends up looking like a big “Toilet Bulb” I don’t see it making a huge SPLASH πŸ˜€

Looks like I am not the only one working on this idea it is sure nice having my own machine shop to make prototypes in we will see what I can come up with ill be posting some picβ€˜s in the next week or so.:D

Nice one Verd’ 8)
Great news to hear you are pursuing it πŸ˜€
As long as it isn’t crazy money, we airgunners don’t mind digging deep for quality and reliability!!
Heck, you probably got 50+ potential customers on this site alone!
You get this right and you should make some money, which is right and proper considering the financial risk you are taking!

Fingers crossed for success old bean….. πŸ˜€

We’ve not discussed pricing should my friend be interested in building them
en mass, but the price would be substantial – perhaps cost prohibitive –
unless for a significant order (i.e. ~50 -100 units or more).

When I get closer to a completed copy I’ll post a pic and some schematics;
assuming I get that far… πŸ˜•

Considering that folks are buying AF CO2 adapters that run just shy of $100 apiece, the jury is still out on what “cost prohibitive” is. πŸ˜‰

Looking forward to your report and pics… if you can nail the design down without too many costly re-dos and tweaks, you’ll have a tiger by the tail. Best of luck!

Right on!!! Taking the bull by the horns! Hey, do I pronounce it…Ver deck yager ??? long A or shor a ?

It did not that I’m aware of.

Due to a lack of machinists herein moving, nay, RUNNING towards the
solution, I’ve contracted a buddy of mine to build a proto. It’s slightly
different than the one shown, is smaller, but has the key components:

  • Offset slightly lowered tank
    Pressure Gauge
    Refill valve

I should have a working model in a few weeks to begin pressure testing and
the like. Just an FYI, though: Its a rather pricey endeavour. The proto alone
will set me back nearly the price of stock condor. πŸ™

Bump. Did this idea die?

interested AF shooters, I’ve just received some not-so-great news.

I just got a private note from Lucas (Argentina). Apparently he’s no longer in contact with the folks making those incredibly nice tank angles – with refill and gauge. So unless anyone has access to the Argentinian mfr, we all may be S.O.L… πŸ˜₯

Where do we go from here? Well… It would appear that shy of them randomly popping up and offering the angles for sale, the only way its gonna get on our rifles (or a facsimile thereof) is for one of you machinist wizards out there to get after it and bring the idea to production.

Btw, when you do so, please list me for purchase. πŸ˜€

How can I get one of these angled tanks?

You can’t. They aren’t for sale. Yet.

By the way, how do you post a picture on this forum?

WoK maybe that should get a sticky status..

quote South_:

To increase output pressure for paintball regulator You have to replace springwashers inside of regulator to another order.
For example: now You have such order of springwashers – ()()()()(). Another order – (())(())(( will give to You more output pressure.

Is this something I can do myself, if not who would do it? How would you know the output pressure?
