Q:

Tank angled

This pictures are from my friends here in argentina, they work hard thinking how to make the airforce more comfortable and here are the solution.
You can charge it same way as the original or by the quick fill.
Really a great work from Lucas, Sebastian and Leo.

put a nut on it and it becomes universal..

You could always use a set screw to lock down the valve at the correct position. As long as the Orings were set up to handle a little play like that.

Every gun lines up differently when you screw the bottle into the gun, I cannot see how this would line up on every gun. Nice design though.

i will take one 😆

That looks really nice. I have a couple of questions.

Why so long? It looks like it adds about 4″ inches to the length?
These prototypes are the first. They told me the definitves are shorter.
Ill think these longer adaptor will be regulated in the future.

You can screw and unscrew the bottle same way as original.

quote Glenn5691:

My guess is that you take the valve/tophat off the tank and screw that into the front part and the adapter into the bottle.

Exactly! 😀

Why not add a tiny big of angle to it? Or would that drop the butt to low?

How do you deal with screwing it in and having it line back up in the right spot?

I like it….put me down

Wow… just for looks sake alone, that throws a whole new profile on the back of the gun. And a gauge too! Nice work. Hope it works, and I hope you guys make a decent buck off of it.

Makes me wonder… does AF have an R&D crew that’s going to put their coffee down one of these days and get around to making this kind of stuff, or are they content to let the DIY’ers carry the load?

In the four months I’ve been involved with the AF community, I’ve seen so many awesome mods and aftermarket parts designed by the gun owners themselves that I’m dumbfounded that AF isn’t offering anything new in parts or accessories. Or at the very least, offering to buy the rights to some of the better ideas and incorporating them in new guns and as upgrades for older guns.

Not trying to scuttle anyone’s part-time biz, I’m just a capitalist salesman who knows a profit-center when he sees one…. so why is AF sitting on their hands and not getting a piece of this action?

My guess is that you take the valve/tophat off the tank and screw that into the front part and the adapter into the bottle. It is a great idea and hopefully they perfect it. Hell, throw in a regulator and the guys will get rich.

I really can’t tell how that functions from the pictures. The idea is a great one however. I especially like the gauge.

Assuming this tests out o.k., I bet a lot of folks would like one (inc. me) 🙂

Looks very nice.

It looks like the valve is screwed into the gun. THen the adapter is attached and next the bottle.

Nice work.

Have they made a separate top hat assembly with that?
