Target shooting ..what can you do?!
I have heard this expression time and time again.
“If I can’t keep a 1/2 in group at 50 yards, something is wrong”
I would like to see it. Join in, get up off your couch and play with your gun a little bit. An excuse to play with the gun, always fun.
Simple rules of the game.
Print this target out…or use one like it!
Set up between 45-50 yards with a benchrest
Don’t shoot through 15 targets just to pick the very best .
Sight in the gun first then print out 1 and see what you can do.

I love my Condor , i really dont have a need for any other rifle, it does it all, i would like to make a short rifle for compact use, so one of these times i will get a 12″ barrel and differant shroud and play with that .
My springers are getting dusty. 🙂
MrNewbie. If you used the same bushing stock I did, your hammer will weigh roughly 75+ grams.
I find anything heavier gives more punch, but isn’t anywhere as consistent.

Well, I certainly will bring this topic up once I get my new rifle.
I totally cheated and used a pb for my groups, but besides my IZH M46 pistol (which I don’t think would do so hot at 50) I don’t have anything but a Condor tank and an old TalonSS stock I made.
The tank can’t shoot at 50 for shit no matter how I strap it to the stock!! 😆
Man, if it wasn’t for the FT match I went to last Sunday i’d be in some serious airgun withdrawals right now.
I admitt it, I grow frustraited. I have done every single mod to this gun that I can think of, or others have thought of, and I’m still trying to improve. Have done the trigger mods..overtravel and pull force, polished..and replace with lighter springs. Upgraded to a TT high-flow with polished tophat, .25 barrel, done the ace hammer mod(perhaps you posted it). Played with tophat adjustment to tone this high flow down to 900fps. Changed out breech gaskets.even put in a new breech slide.
Can’t seem to stop playing with this thing. As of late I have realized I don’t need 95gr of hammer to send the pellet in the 850-950 fps range.
Took the brass hammer mod out..why slam the valve so hard..when I can hit it softer, less bounce force inside gun.
I think Im decent with this thing but you guys kick butt..
Still, this is the best airgun I have ever had and enjoy it..having fun

and no sir, i shot that target right before i post it.
the crosman pellets dont do as well as the jsb, but after roll sorting, they do almost as well.
I am not runing a regulator.
No reg. Custom brass/bronze hammer made from bushing stock available at ACE. Seems to have been the best improvement I ever made.
I have no new targets due to the fuckin wind here. I swear it only stopped blowing during the forest fire (thank insert name here), and I wasnt about to set up targets while on evacuation notice.

In the past I have had an occasional great grouping as well, but I seem to lack consistency. Today, I’m dead on..the next day it stinks.

#2 40y and #1,3,5 70y, about a year ago with .25 Kodiaks. The barrel has been chopped and recrowned since then and shoots Benjiman domed now only better. 😆
I haven’t had a windless day to shoot in months, but Ill see what I can do.
The target I shot with the newly chopped barrel. Middle spray is getting things lined up, first shots from barrel. Left 5 shot JSB, right 5 shot JSB, upper right 3 shot EJ domed. Both 5s were under half inch, 3 shot was .68 or nearabouts all at 50 yards.

3 years ago?? with 42gr EJ, 30 shots at 100 yards, no refill and no change to point of aim (top center diamond).
No cherrypicking, its the only photos of my targets I have the gun shoots better than I do.

Stock AF-Condor .22, stock hiflo valve, bipod, rear caldwell bench, Mueller 8-32x44ao target side scope @ 32x, Crosman premier domed pellets, 5 shots group, RED color; the yellow color is a Hammerli match rimfire with CCI std velocity ammo: moderate wind from the right.
here take your pic, shot these in about 25 min. no fine tune, but you can see when my condor gets in the sweet spot. 😉
