Q:

Target shooting ..what can you do?!

I have heard this expression time and time again.

“If I can’t keep a 1/2 in group at 50 yards, something is wrong”

I would like to see it. Join in, get up off your couch and play with your gun a little bit. An excuse to play with the gun, always fun.

Simple rules of the game.

Print this target out…or use one like it!

Set up between 45-50 yards with a benchrest
Don’t shoot through 15 targets just to pick the very best .
Sight in the gun first then print out 1 and see what you can do.
5 shot groups

(ahhhh… what’s the point ?)

1) Its fun to shoot the gun
2) To get a real life idea of how my/your gun shootin compares
3) See if a shooter with an e-tacs/reg make a big differance (yeh, U)
4) See if I need to tweak my gun more, or go take lessons.
5) Those that claim 1/2″ at 50yards, prove it
6) We might all learn something

What the heck see #1

Kazz.. real nice shootin for 54 yards

ahhhh… what’s the point ?

quote AirGunner1:

Your targets are meaningless without caliber, barrel length, powerwheel setting, pellet weight, etc. etc.

Why?

All you need to know is they were shot with an airgun at 50 yards.

If someone is trying to diagnose a problem all that stuff helps, but for groups it’s optional.

Not your target but 50m 10 shot:

Your targets are meaningless without caliber, barrel length, powerwheel setting, pellet weight, etc. etc.

48 yards 5 shot groups, set up inside house on kitchen table, using wife’s big purse as a rest.

This is a pretty good group for me.

18in barrel , .25 cal benji 27.8gr, Pw3 , around 900fps
