The Condor Has Landed But I think I got the Shaft.
Just got my 2nd hand Condor from Pyramid. They sent out some Emails last week. Some of you probably got ’em…?
At any rate, I had just ordered a brand new 2012 Condor from Pyramid which was backordered. Two days later I get an Email advertising 2011 models at a considerable savings. Evidently these models don’t have the spin-lock / gauge type bottle but I’m OK with that cuz I plan on installing Tony’s angled fill tank adaptor. They also had a used 2011 Condor in .25 cal. for sale so I saved myself $105.00 and called and changed my order. I ordered the used rifle with a full, lifetime warranty.
The rifle arrived this morning and if they hadn’t told me that it was used I probably wouldn’t have known. The rifle looks spotless. However, it didn’t come with the filling adapter which connects the bottle / tank to my female foster fitting on my Benjamin hand pump. I called and was told that this item had to be ordered separately which I promptly did but I’m doubting that the new guns are shipped without this very important part. I just forked over another $30.00 for this part plus shipping. Did I get screwed or do the rifles come without this adapter?

Yeah, I called ’em again. Seems that if you order the gun w/o the hand pump or scuba adapter all you get is the gun. If however you order the gun w/ pump or scuba tank clamp, the pump alone or tank clamp alone you’ll get the adapter too.
Oh well, What’s another couple of days and another $30.00????

nvm i just called pyramydair and they said that the airforce line of guns are now going to be shipped standard with spinloc tanks soon

so the 2012 guns now come with the spinloc tanks thats bull shit i just got my condor and got a standard hi flow tank with it
mine did not come with a fill adaptor but my airforce hand pump did
ordering from p/a they do not come with the fill adapter, some of the other places throw them in…. check the for sale here, I think it’s moset or something like that that has two of them he has been trying to sell, they have also been listed on the yellow as well…. good price too if I recall right
New vs. used rifles… It’s got to be the reason.
Unless of course the ad said it comes with the fill adapter. 😉

Mine didn’t come with a fill adapter either, but I didn’t need it anyways since I’m running a 68ci tank and ETaC-Reg. I don’t remember seeing anything saying that they are supposed to come with a fill adapter.
